GSW are behind the scenes building a potential dynasty with Draymond at the helm while keeping most onlookers dazzled by Curry and Durant. But as genuine NBA fans, this is what GSW has been keeping behind the scene.

1. They know Curry is limited physically, limited health wise and is really good at 3s. Throw him off the 3pt line with good defenders playing up on him (believe it or not you actually play good defenders in the WCF and Finals), and he puts on a short show.

2. Durant has foot issues and is passive mentally and a poor leader and example setter. Durant also has no post game and refuses to back down point guards in the post.

3. Draymond Green is the GSW pet major project. Draymond is meant to be their Lebron. Someone with size who can run the floor, be a floor leader, make assists/passes, shoot the 3, bully some small guards on the switches and play some great defence. The have put shooters around Draymond (Curry/Durant/Klay) same as Lebron has his own shooters (JR, Jefferson. Kyrie).

Not to say Draymond is the only healthy, strong and fiery member of this team he is also literally the only player on that team willing to be a leader rather tag along and enjoy the pony ride with their friends.

Draymond does appear to be their leader, but GS doesn't build around anyone. They're a system not reliant on any particular player, that's why they're so successful. Like SA, unlike OKC.

Unless you have literally the best player in the world (Bird/Magic, Jordan, Shaq, Duncan, Kobe, Lebron only players in last 30 years who qualify) star power doesn't help you. And even then, you still need a system.

System vs. no system: system wins.
System vs. system: the hand of fate decides
System w/ best player in world vs. system: best player wins... see Jordan vs. Jazz, Lebron vs. Golden State

This is just silly. If forced to trade 1 of the 3, Dray would be the one on the way out.

Curry has botched up when it mattered in literally one series in the last two years you dunce. They have been 3 minutes away from a B2B ship under Curry, and the FO is planning to move away from Curry as the main man according to arm chair tacticians. :facepalm

I love Draymond but without the hot shooters not taking 3-4 players with them on offensive runs, his offensive game drops by massive amount. He even commented that they were leaving him open to shoot since they were focusing on Steph and Klay. Difference is he stepped up, unlike the awful excuse of a baller known as Barnes.

So why isn't coach K using this strategy? Make Dray the main guy and let him pass to shooters- Kyrie, Klay, Durant, and Melo.

same reason melo is in the starting line up. He has to placate egos and look at seniority. Honestly a small ball line up of kyrie-klay-durant-george-dray would wreck so hard.. it'd be a track meet from the start.

That's smart move.

Draymond is such an alpha player that it would take the hoax intervention of an NBA commissioner to stop him from winning the championship.

Draymond green has the Rodman ability in the paint. Big boy Chest and he can muscle you and scrap and claw the ball out of your hands. He also can defend anyone from 1-5 (something that curry can not do) and can shoot the 3 (helping drag out the 7 footers from the paint therefore curry gets easier lane buckets).

Draymond is Rodman on steroids. Rodman could never shoot and play the way Draymond does. Draymond actually plans ahead on switches to realise "oh I got a little guard on me I will get a bully basket right here" sort of thing which Rodman never did (whether by design of system or ability).

Draymond is also far more healthier and YOUNGER than Durant and Curry. We all know the injuries that have plagued curries career and some would say an injury cost the warriors the championship as curry went like 0/100 in the 4th quarter of game 7. Plus We know Durant is mentally teletubbies so lets not play around with that. Durant couldn't lead a pack of hampsters into their feeding area at night so forget him. If GSW win, its off Draymonds back.
