If you thought what lebron did was bad, what kobe did was worse..
Kobe 2011 vs mavs stats:
Usage:30%
17/3/1

Lebron 2011 vs mavs stats:
17/6/7
Usage:22%
Lebron was the third option in 2011 We know this because not only was he third in usage in the 2011 finals but also spolestra admitted that lebron was the third option in 2011
In the summer of 2010, the Heat's higher-ups made the mistake of thinking they had acquired the best player at his position, instead of realizing they had acquired the best player in the world. "He was just the small forward and that was it," says one of their coaches. Miami fell in the 2011 Finals to the Mavericks, with James marooned on the wing, clanking midrange jumpers. Regardless of what the box score still indicates, that was his last experience at small forward. "We went from plugging him into a system," the coach says, "to molding a system around him." The Heat wised up and handed LeBron the ball. Location wasn't all that important.

Think about it, Lebron scored more, assisted more, and rebounded more and won more as the third option on a ''stacked'' 47 win heat team in his first year than kobe did as the league dog with a system molded around him on a lakers team coming off back to back championships.
Let that sink in..

Age is irrelevant, we know this because kyrie at 24 years old had a better finals than kobe did at an older age with a prime shaq.

Kyrie's 2016 finals
27/3/3

Kobe
15 points on 38% shooting

Kyrie 24, LeBron 26, not nearly the same as 21 year old Kobe who played under a tougher set of defensive rules1. Sorry!

Kobe had a very badly injured knee, two tweaked ankles in the last series and could barely move, you'd see at the end of the games he was limping around.
Meanwhile LeBron was in his physical prime

the heat would have lost to the surging mavs in 4, we know this because

He was too young against prime duncan in 2007,the third option in 2011, his team was old and sucked in 2014,and his team was injured in 2015, Therefore we can conclude that lebron is 3/3 when his team AT LEAST gives a minimum effort while he is the first option.

with everything above considered, we can conclude that lebron has been the better player through 31 years old.

Kevin love is in his physical prime, yet saw his numbers drop from his Minnesota days due to going from the 1st option to the third option..

Lebron has never hid in a corner, he had an off finals due to missfit coaching by a young enexpirienced head coach and coaching staff.

Lebron put up better numbers as a 3rd option on a 45 win team than curry did as the first option on a 73-9 team let that sink in..

No, he was a 1a/1b, just as was all season. He simply had a bad series. He became passive because he was struggling, not because it was by design. There were numerous games throughout the season where Lebron and Wade both played well. In fact, that was the case for the majority of the season. Look at the Boston series. Wade was the best player in the series, but Lebron was still Lebron.

Nobody was calling Lebron a 3rd option during the series, or even a 2nd option for that matter. That is all retrospective nonsense. The funny thing about his fans making excuses, Lebron himself has admitted that he didn't play up to his standards and he didn't play well enough to win. He accepts responsibility, so why can't his fans?

you could in fact say he put up GOAT 3rd option performance

one has to wonder how did Wade and Bosh manage to waste that away

it also shows LeBron's excellent portability

It's funny when Lebron actually lead the team in the whole regular season with 19 shots/game and all of a sudden took less shots vs the "might Mavs".

Meanwhile LeBron was in his physical primeLebron had a broken wrist, tailbone, foot and 3 hernias. He was in a wheelchair before games.
