Amazing!
Lebron averaged 17, 8, 7 and pushed the mavs to 6 games while Kobe only 2 rounds earlier got swept after averaging 17, 3, 1 and was embarassed by 36 in the final game! :lebronamazed:

At least Kobe Bryant was able to lead his team in scoring (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2011-nba-western-conference-semifinals-mavericks-vs-lakers.html), and didn't get outscored by Jason Terry as well! It's not just that. It's a better series than the one his idol put up ju add a couple of rounds earlier en route to getting swept BY the SAME TEAM :oldlol:
17, 3 ,1 while choking away game 1 and 3 alm of the singlehandedly and then having no impact in the 1st elimination game as they got dismantled by nearly 40 points.

I want y'al hating mother fos to come back in 3 days.
Talk smack now and enjoy this
Let's see if Curry turns things around and I GUARANTEE he does, upon which he surpasses Kobrick all time and knocks him to 13th.
All he has to do is surpass Kobe's career finals numbers of 25 ppg on 41%. He does that and he's gold.
Next year he'll go for the jugular and start aiming for a 3 peat and MJ finals numbers.
Mark my words branvestites and kobrick lovers. Curry will have both of you crying in tears the entire summer by the time he wraps this up in a week

You don't have to lie. Kobe Bryant averaged 23.3 points per game against the Mavericks in the 2011 WCSF (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2011-nba-western-conference-semifinals-mavericks-vs-lakers.html)
(Keep in mind that is 5.5 more points per game than what LeBron James scored against the 2011 Finals (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2011-nba-finals-mavericks-vs-heat.html), and Kobe Bryant's second option was Pau Gasol while LeBron James' second option was Dwyane Wade; Kobe Bryant(32 (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2011-nba-western-conference-semifinals-mavericks-vs-lakers.html)) was 7 years older than LeBron(26 (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2011-nba-finals-mavericks-vs-heat.html)) as well!)

I don't frequent ISH as much as I used to, but every time I get on here these days it seems like one, or all, of warriorfan, Dray n Klay, 3ball (and a few others I can't remember right now) are starting the same agenda driven thread for the 4,291st time.
This has to be the 40th or 50th time I've seen warriorfan post one or both of those images.

LeBron put up GOAT 3rd option performance (he was a designated 3rd option for the Finals as per agreement with Bosh and Wade who are his seniors), proving his excellent portability and yet Wade and Bosh especially could not capitalize on that and deliver the title.

Wade was proved incapable of delivering the title as a 1st option, confirmed by the fact that he wasted LeBron's GOAT 3rd option performance
The only way the Heat were winning the title that year was with LeBron as a 1st option and LeBron would have therefore won the FMVP.

Nah, if LeBron manages to score more than 8 points in Game 4 or 2 points in the 4th quarter the Heat win in 4-5 games

You can't count on a 3rd option player to carry you offensively.
That was Wade's job when he designated himself to be the 1st option.

Why is a 4x MVP & career 27 ppg scorer in the prime of his career scoring like a 3rd option behind the likes of Bosh? Why was he averaging 25-27 ppg the rest of the season until the Finals?

it is a well known fact that Wade had a deal with LeBron to be the alpha dog for at least one more Finals series
Bosh was a part of that agreement because of his seniority to LeBron
it should be noted that LeBron outplayed Bosh even though Bosh was a designated 2nd option in that series

nah .. there was a large contingent on here that believed curry was soft, and wouldnt be able to translate his dominant rs performances to the playoffs .. and it turned out they were right to a degree. And it's not like the guy stopped trying, live by the 3 die by it.. he and klay were on fire in the WCF's and were in and outing everything in the finals..
there still is no excuse for what happened to bron in 2011.. there was no foreshadowing of it, nothing. and not only did he score way less than curry, but he just inexplicably stopped trying.

I don't disagree with anything you said, LeBron had arguably the WOAT Finals for a player of his caliber, and I wouldn't necessarily disagree if you said Curry's wasn't as bad, but it's honestly not far off, especially when you factor in his pathetic Game 7 performance and all time bad 4th quarter

Exactly, Riley had a handshake agreement that Wade gets to be the 1st option in the Finals at least initially, to keep Wade's inflated ego in check.
LeBron did his job and let Wade take the reigns, sadly Wade couldn't do his.

The difference was that Curry was literally seconds away from a championship and still choked. He literally was one 3 pointer away from winning it. So his Finals performance was FAR worse.
After Wade's last minute meltdown in Game 4, leaving the game inexplicatly in Game 5, and quit job in Game 6 (he scored 16 points IIRC) LeBron had no shot to win the series
So Currys performance was FAR worse

Cite and link credible sources for this "deal" concerning Bosh or shut up. Let's keep that part simple
Barring that, SouBeach made points that you couldn't answer (2x MVP, leading scorer for MIA throughout the entire season and playoffs until the Finals, gets them to the Finals and suddenly lets make him the 3rd option. LOL). Go ahead and tell the class why Miami would make him the 3rd option in the biggest series of the year after he was their leading scorer until that point and it got them there. Why put him behind Bosh who struggled all year and never felt comfortable in the system by his own words? Try to explain this without making yourself look like even more of a dumbass
I'm rooting for you

Wade avg. more points than LeBron in the Boston series....30.2 > 28.0.
It just seemed weird that James would all of a sudden look disinterested at times in the Finals, considering what we just saw against the Bulls the prior round who swept Miami in the reg. season.
Then Wade says in the the off-season "it's LeBron's team now" and then we proceed to see B2B titles with James leading the team in points rebounds and assists for the entire postseason/every series.
I know it's crazy, but with the way things worked out....looking back it's not to far fetched to think James was letting Wade (prior agreement between the 2) shine/be first option in the 2011 Finals.
