This honestly has nothing to do with the BLM campaign other than it involves a black man.

I also don't think she meant anything racist by it.

That's basically the point, anything that has to do with black people is automatically a BLM supporter, it gives suspected white supremacist a way to talk down on blacks in code.

65% of blacks support BLM, including 41% who strongly support it.

So yeah, statistically, if you see a black person, chances are pretty high they support BLM.

For the same reason you don't have to ask a black person who they vote for... the proof is in the statistics. Herd mentality.

If I wanted to talk down to blacks, I wouldn't need to do it in code.

No, the BLM campaign is specifically about blacks being killed by cops, and cops not always being held accountable. It is not about anything construed as racist.

I had to look up the pink pen thing. I didn't delve into what she said, but it is pretty stupid to think that girls need pens to be a specific color, and then try to charge more for them. Colors are genderless.

The only thing that will end the PC Police is when they start eating their own. Ellen is a certified Sergent Captain with the PC Police (and also completely lame).

Therefore, I endorse this move.

(even though the picture isn't the least bit offensive to anyone not just sitting around waiting to be offended)

only 65%?

wow...that is much lower than I would have thought.

If this is true then absolutely no one should assume all blacks (100%) support BLM if only 65% do.

The correct thing to say is 65% of the black people polled support blm, did they ask every black person in america who they support?

If I wanted to talk down to blacks, I wouldn't need to do it in code. The narrative by suspected white supremacist is to paint every black person who doesn't agree with their ideology as a blm supporter, then they go on to call them ''thugs, scum of the earth etc,'' ''Bubu im not racist'' just looking in this forum board alone every time a black person does something outrageous he's automatically a suspected BLM supporter.

This is another case of the media stretching the reality...they throw articles like this out making it look like there is some huge uproar over the pic when in reality it was just a tiny handful of idiots on Twitter.

The media throws this out and everyone is " Oh fck this PC bullshit has gone too far damn it!!!" when in reality there was no uproar.

I'm not that familiar with Ellen, but if she's anything like Bill Maher, then I'm all for her being branded a racist.

For those that don't know what I mean by "like Bill Maher", I'll explain. Bill Maher CONSTANTLY makes baseless accusations of racism. But recently, the SJW crowd has turned on him and branded him a racist and tried to have him banned from speaking in certain places.

To be clear, the accusation of Maher being a racist is utterly bullshit, but I have no sympathy for him. I'm glad he's been branded a racist. Maybe that will make him think twice the next time he feels like casually and baselessly accusing others of being racists

She was getting absolutely hammered on Twitter. I don't know about the other social media sites, but it was more than just a couple people.

Once the media reported on that, it snowballed and now it really is a "story."

It sucks, but I've seen the inner-workings of the media both from inside the industry and having friends be a part of a "story" that went international completely unjustifiably.

It was an eye-opening experience. The media controls people to an extent I'm not really sure most people understand. You don't know what it's really like until you're in the middle of that tornado.

Actually, Maher is one of the many comedians who has stood up against the PC Police. These guys can't even play campuses anymore because of the ridiculous childishness when it comes to what is "acceptable" and "not acceptable."

If you've ever watched any of his standup or documentaries, you know he's anything but PC. The guy goes to great lengths to destroy all religions.

The PC Police has never gone for that kind of stuff. He has been on their list for some time. A group successfully protested and got the administration to cave from allowing him to give a commencement speech years ago.

It's just that, now, he has intentionally aligned himself with the Sam Harris' of the world ... speaking the truth, tbh.

He's not PC but he constantly accuses people of being racist based on nothing. The tea party are all racists, anybody who doesn't like Obama is racist, anybody who is a Republican is racist, anybody who thinks immigration laws should be enforced is racist, the specific guy who called Obama a liar is a racist, anybody in congress who tried to block Obamacare is racist, Mitt Romney was somehow a racist, McCain wants to kill all "brown people", the Ferguson cop who shot Michael Brown is racist, it goes on and on and on.

We can determine who votes for who, but we cant determine who supports who the most based on a poll on a select few people.

We can determine that the majority of blacks support BLM. That's not really debatable.

Really?

https://policy.m4bl.org/

There's their demands. Very few of them even mention police... But most mention that the white man needs to give us something just because.

Which is ironic because anybody whose family has been here on US soil longer than mine, including blacks, have about 100% higher probability of owning slaves than mine did. Yes, blacks captured, sold, bought, and enslaved other blacks in this country, just like whites did. That behavior continues on TODAY in Africa.

But black lives matter, amiright? Or only when you want something? Where's BLM in Baton Rouge helping evacuate people? Nowhere to be found. The police are there though. The Cajun Navy is there though.

You scream and yell at the top of your lungs like a kid in a grocery store just to hear the sound of your own voice... and for free shit.

This the same with Milo, who's gay, that's why they never go too bad on him, or Shapiro, who's jewish.

Agreed 100%.

Ofc the picture isn't racist but when it comes the to PC types that claim their moral superiority onto others well **** em.

The picture is racist and Ellen Degenerate should be ashamed for thinking black men are slaves and are obliged to carry her around.

His ex black girlfriend accused him of assault and calling her racially demeaning slurs. One could say the fact that he had a black gf means he isn't racist. But that defense didn't work so well for Donald Sterling.

Yall should help me change this bullshit.

Start supporting businesses that aren't gonna GAF when sjw's cry on the internet.

Ellen should have gave two big middle fingers to anyone who complained. Instead she pussed out and apologized despite doing nothing wrong whatsoever. Businesses bowing down to these idiots is exactly what empowers them to keep acting this way. Let's support some businesses that actually have some ****ing principles and will tell these losers to take a walk.

Good post. Most people think of how absurd this stuff is and thus consider it exaggeration or anomaly because it hasn't yet happened to them or to their friends--but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen to many people, and it doesn't mean it doesn't destroy lives. And you're damned right about the media: most people don't realise just how bad these scumbags are--the extent to which they control and manipulate the narrative is insane.

Where I think you're wrong (in your other post) is that there will be a correction. That can happen, but what usually happens is that a segment of liberals break away from the latest crazies, and from that point onwards are labelled as "conservatives"--that happened to many neocons and new deal liberals in the past. These new liberals could have monopolised the term for themselves in twenty years, and they probably will.

Give it ten, twenty years, and Bill Maher and Sam Harris will be being labelled conservatives. A friend of mine did his MA thesis on American conservatism, and this process has happened something like 5 times already (think HL Mencken, for example, a clear radical, at odds with conservatives like Babbitt, instantly became a "reactionary" because he didn't support FDR). The newest generation of "liberals" always seem to devour their antecedents.

America really needs to rid itself of the liberal/conservative dichotomy: it's reaching the point of absurdity.
