View Full Version : *Interesting, Jordan in 1986 actually had more help than LeBron did this season

2nd option Orlando Woolridge 20.7 ppg 5 rebs 3 assists > 2nd option Kyrie Irving 19.6 ppg 3 rebs 4.7 assists

3rd option George Gervin 16.2 ppg on 47% >> 3rd option Kevin Love 16.0 on 41% FG

4th option 16.3 ppg Quintin Dailey > 12.4 ppg J.R Smith

Woah :wtf: Jordan had better 2nd, 3rd, 4th options in 1986 than LeBron did in 2016?

However LeBron led the Cavs to 57 wins and the championship, while Jordan led his team to 30 wins and 1st round sweep by the Celtics (0-3)

How did Jordan lose in the 1st round (get swept) by a roster that was more talented than a team LeBron won a championship and beat a 73 win team with?

Thats the difference between GOAT and WOAT production

1986 Bulls roster > 2016 Cavs roster, yet Bulls lose in the 1st round, wheras LeBron leads the Cavs to a championship :confusedshrug:

Yikes, this doesn't look too good for Jordan :D

wow so Wooldridge now is greater than Uncle Drew?!

nevermind the fact that 86 Bulls first round opponent was arguably the greatest team of all time

Dray stop proving you're inept. If you don't know what you're talking about, at least learn to READ about the shit you reference so you don't look like a moron upon closer inspection

Quinton Daley didn't even play in the playoffs for the Bulls in 86 and Gervin played a grand total of 11 minutes

Though it's obvious as **** you don't have a clue what you're talking about as anyone that knows anything about Quintin Dailey knows the guy was hilariously nothing more than a distraction who couldn't do a thing except score about 6 or 7 times a game

So go ahead and throw this one out and try a different approach fam

I don't even think Jordan played a single game with Dailey during the regular season.

Even it were true, which isn't the case, you're talking about a second year player compared to a decade plus veteran close to his prime, what the hell is your point?

What Lebron accomplished this year was phenomenal. Jordan's sophomore season has nothing to do with it.

A second year player who played 7 games in the regular season, then proceeded to put up 44/6/6 on 50% shooting against the GOAT team. :oldlol:

You know you're the GOAT when people try to use this year, of all years, to discredit you.

Something a 5 year old could have figured out. But you know, blatant trolling and stupidity is actively encouraged here. But here's the thing with stats, posting two people scoring 20 ppg doesn't mean those players are the same level. Orlando Woolridge was never anything more than an empty stats scorer, he was never at the level of Kyrie Irving who this finals proved himself a championship level 2nd option. It's like arguing someone like Kevin Martin is a great player because he averaged 24ppg. But this is what happens when stats are looked up on basket-reference by morons who either deliberately ignore context because they have an agenda, or are simply too stupid to use it. I think we know which one applies here.

So ridiculous to compare the stats of players that got a stat boost from Jordan sitting out for all but 18 games that season. Then a fresh off injury, 2nd year Jordan had to compete against the historic Celtics while Gervin only played a total of 11 minutes in the series.

Jordan led his team to 30 wins and 1st round sweep by the Celtics (0-3)[/I]

Jordan only played 18 games that regular season. He was injured. He didn't "lead" them to 30 wins. He was out injured.

Stop posting dishonest troll crap on this board

It would be interesting to replace Jordan with Lebron and see to what record he could lead that Bulls team, while only starting in 7 games.
