I recently went to a convention and bunch of people recommended this to me (I've never read comic books before). I bought the first two volumes and I'm floored, ordered the next 4 volumes. This is amazing, just wanted to share with anyone interested in trying a graphic novel.

It's he same dude that wrote Y the last man, which was very good.

I started Saga but stopped while waiting for new issues to come out. It started off pretty solid, nice world building and characters but didn't draw me in enough to go back I guess.

Then again, I'm not a big comic guy, just liked the glossy look on the retina screen on the iPad

Definitely agree on the world building in saga, guy has an insane imagination.

yea, I just ordered that book yesterday. I'm not that big on comics either, first two I've read, but I tend to enjoy the top stuff in each genre.

It's started out awesome, and the art is exceptional. however I haven't gone back. It's too much of a love story for my tastes, but I hear the later issues there is not as big an emphasis on that.
