Robert Horry esque

:biggums: Horry is one of the clutchest role players in NBA history. He earned his rings. Plus he didn't get a max contract or an Olympic Gold Medal.

Kc Jones beats everyone. Back to back NCAA titles....a gold medal...and 8 NBA titles.

Why?

Because he went to college, played on the olympic team, and played in the NBA...with Bill Russell.

He was never an all star. Hes a career 7/3 player who shot about 35% and played tough defense.

Bill Russell won this dude 11 pieces of gold hardware of some variety.

Its like if Tony Allen played with Tim Duncan from age 18 to 35....except...an extra 6 rings, 2 NCAA titles, and a gold medal.

Nothing really compares. Bill Russell personally took KC Jones to the HOF....as a player.

Hes in the hall of fame...as a PLAYER.

He was a second team all american one year in college.

He has no other accolades in his career.

Hes in the hall of fame...as a player.

His HOF plaque should read:

"Played tough defense on teams with Bill Russell."

And nothing else.

Kinda like a James Jones to Lebron? Except to a much greater extend.
