Slipping drugs into people's drinks

I was at a bbq over the weekend and just recently found out one of my "friends" slipped molly in my drink. First off I've been off all drugs for almost 20 years. The fact that someone secretly slips it into my system just to see how I'd react infuriates me.

What is the obsession with people who do this to see what reaction would happen? Who could justify this type of act? Now I can't claim I am drug free when in fact I was slipped something without me knowing.

To be fair I put friend in quotation marks meaning this wasn't really a friend of mine. This was a person I previously chose not to associate with but happened to be a friend of my brother's who happened to be at the same bbq.

But like I posted I have many great friends. For every 20 or so there is always going to be 1 or so unfavorable. It's just those unfavorables makes for better conversation :lol

I'm not debating what is technically a drug. You can go as far as saying tons of confectionary spices are drugs. I work in the supplement industry. I'm talking about what is against the law or would make me fail a drug test.

Serious violation of your principles, not sure why you are so casual about it. One of my friends thought another dosed him with LSD (didn't happen, but that guy thinks it did and completely abandoned the crew).

I am skeptical to be honest, because if you are on a 20 year streak and proud of it this would piss you off more.

Believe me, I'm infuriated, but somehow the topic has changed to how shitty my friends are as opposed to how my reaction was to being drugged or explanation to why people do these sort of things? Trust me, my reaction IRL was more profound. But translating on here seems to bring more intentional trolling than it being examined as a serious topic. I've had a lot of experience with shit people... and I don't have a lot of trust for anyone other than my closest friends. I have no issue cutting people from my life when they **** up, and if they were really your friends, they would understand you being like "Dude drugged me, I don't wanna be in the same place as him." And their reaction will show how they feel about you. If they are like I feelya we won't invite him... or if they are like, well sorry cya later.

It's better to be alone than deal with shit people. Like I said: I have known a lot of shit people, and luckily, I came out of it mostly unscathed. I know what it's like to make a clean break. New people will come along. You will be surprised what negative people can be doing to your life, and preventing you from making non-negative relationships.

When I was in college, this very popular frat had a reputation of having a few shady brothers who would put drugs into girls' drinks. My group of friends knew of a girl who passed out from one of them outside (thankfully) and she wasn't taken advantage of.

What I will never understand though is that besides this happening a few times that one semester, the house was still one of the most popular house for girls on campus to party at (even though their rival frat down the street was known to throw the best parties and had 'lax brothers). They had the nicest house, I guess that's why they were still very popular.
