Not even a good defender despite being the most athletic player in the league. Imagine what happens after another knee injury? We would be looking at a point guard that can't shoot, dumber than a bag of hammers, and no ability to defend any opposing PG. It's amazing to me how overrated this guy is. And some of you have the audacity to say he will win the MVP? :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

He has the tools to be a good defensive player but yeah, he is a moron on defense and gambles way too much.

im on board OP, I feel ya, massively overrated, however you are wrong. The biggest myth in the NBA is that westbrook is some bigtime dunker. The reality is he has long arms and has a maximum separation of 36.5 inches off the ground, and thats WITHOUT the ball. He uses wild body movements and 100% intensity to appear some kind of big time jumper.

The problem with Westbrook is he gambles and is over aggressive. He has the tools to be a great defender but mentality to gamble will always bite him in the ass.
