They should retire both

Mr Feeny
08-24-2016, 06:04 PM
24.

It's forever etched in our memories as number 24 took 24 shots in the biggest game of his life and made a paltry 6:lol

That's true.

They should probably retire 24 though.

24 he was the undisputed leader.

I really don't see what's the big deal if they retire both. Not exactly sure why this has been such a hot topic of conversation.

They should just hang a pair of Katelyn Faber's panties from the ceiling.

Just hang a banner with 8 on the front and 24 on the back...do the same with the statue. Retire both. No reason not to.

Have you not ever seen how the Lakers roll when it comes to retired jerseys? They show them pretty often

They don't do banners, they hang them on the wall. Can't do two sided jersey

Kblaze8855

I never looked that close. They are on a wall:

I was thinking more like:

Or the Celtics who just have a big panel of two sided numbers.

8+24/2=16

Don't they teach you math in your country?

8+24/2=20

8+(24/2)

8+12 = 20

Fair enough. I read that quickly and assumed there were brackets. It's a bit of an odd way to write down an equation that way. If there weren't brackets, then bodmass takes priority.

As far as the hindu above replying with impudence, I'd just say that the irony is pretty strong here as far as his first statement goes.

Not only are you retarded, when it comes to basketball discussion, you pathetic little troll, you can't even do simple math which 7 year olds are capable of doing.

You really should stick to spamming anti-Kobe posts. That's all your worthless retarded ass is capable to doing.

"Capable to doing". Can't speak English I take it.

Oh wow, you found a spelling mistake. Good for you. Do they hand out cookies at your school when you do that? :oldlol:

Since we're on the topic of spelling and math, it's either BODMAS/PEMDAS. There's no such thing as "bodmass". Not really your fault though. You haven't heard about it till today.

That's not a spelling mistake. Your grammar and punctuation is completely off. Mine was a spelling mistake. If you don't know the difference, that doesn't say a lot about your education system.
You seem to need elementary English lessons. Take them and then come talk to me :D

It was a spelling mistake, which got auto-corrected, but hey, I can live with. Better than not being able to do elementary school level math.

Exactly.
You guys haven't gotten the main point of the jersey retirement thing. The main meaning / implication of a jersey number getting retired is that, no more players will ever be allowed to wear the said number if the number is retired.

So you guys still haven't made the conclusion to the real question: "Should both numbers 8 or 24 not be allowed to be worn by every future Lakers player? Or just number 8? Or just 24?"
