nobody, though it's worth mentioning that Hughes was a good player and had an even bigger ceiling, but dude just could never fulfill his full potential. At times he showed signs of greatness

Yea, no. Where were these signs of greatness? The guy barely shot 40% for his career. He was good defender when he wanted to be, and could throw down some nasty dunks, but that was it. He was extremely inefficient, couldn't shoot, and had an apathetic attitude toward the game. He wasn't a good player. He had the potential to be a great one. He had his career season padding his stats on the run-n-gun Wizards that made the second round (injuries to Bulls), and he stunk up the joint in Cleveland.

Big Z offensive boards and can't miss from mid range and closer. The frustrations of my friends when you get 50/20 stat line with big Z :D

Skill wise they were comparable, but Pippen was better. Hughes also didn't really show up in the playoffs and was injured much of his first year in CLE, which really pushes it more in Pippen's favor.

What I really want to know is, what happened to Hughes? Was it the injury? Because just a year before joining LeBron, he was a 22/6/5 guy who led the league in steals at 2.9. That version of Hughes was clearly better than 89 Pippen.
