Electrician, HVAC, Construction, Plumber, etc. How is it? Are you happy doing what you do? What would be the best way to get started for anyone interested?
Not me personally, but my father is a diesel mechanic without any certification or degree. I don't even think he graduated high school tbh. Came here with nothing and started with being a normal mechanic. He owns a house for $675k that can easily be sold for $900k+, expensive cars ($50k+) and at the time was the only income holder for majority of the time, my mom never worked.
Can you make money off of a trade? Yeah. He's probably making $26-30 an hour now but in his prime I'd say $30-40 an hr. He's only 50 but he's in great shape.
Does it take a toll on your body? Yeah. I see him always limping and exhausted. Working in weather conditions outside the shops.
If you got the drive, physical power and mentality to go far beyond you can achieve it.
