When you stop race-baiting and creating race-baiting threads, then maybe people will take you seriously.

I'm a Latino born in this country from immigrant parents and I make a lot more money than a lot of White people. I also own a house and drive a sports car. Many White people don't own those two things.

What is this White Privilege or Supremacy you speak of?

It hasn't if we go by the definition of Supremacy: the quality or state of having more power, authority, or status than anyone else : the state of being supreme

If you're referring more to opportunities, white males actually have the odds stacked against them in current times, but somehow manage to still be the most successful demographic

Perfect example here of a hard working resourceful person who took advantage of the tremendous opportunities afforded to all in the United States of America

67% of black families are single parent house holds, its a statistical fact that you're more likely to be more sucessful in a two parent household, otoh 25% of white families are single parent.

On top of that 67% of these families live below the poverty threshold, While it's only 9.9% for white single parent.

When you live in poverty you have less opportunities and resources afforded to you than someone living in a wealthy community..

How were you able to get that 3.96 gpa and med school admission? Using your white privilege and supremacy, got lucky, or hard work?

Various resources, like teachers who cared and had the resources to take us on field trips to explore the outside world, and clean water not poisoned with lead...

Not to be harsh or anything (It's amazing you have a 3.96 with a bio degree, I had lower with a business degree from an easier school...), but is there a reason you didn't decide to go to a direct med program? Surely you must have gotten into some, considering you are smart enough to basically only have gotten one or two A-s.

Maybe he didn't go on enough field trips and have clean drinking water bro. After all, that's the reason people get a 3.96 gpa and admission to med school.

The directors of that program at VU are on some http://www.thecoli.com/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/5I5s8.png stuff so i didn't wanna get involved.

So i took an applied concentration, since they were more helpful. I also got hired by one of my profs, so that extra money helps.

also just the fact that its a backup if i somehow didn't get accepted i could do more with that degree than just doing regular direct med programs which dont have as many options outside of med school.

Student's with an applied concentration have better success and are more likely to get accepted, also if somehow you dont get accepted there's other things you can do with that degree straight out of college otoh, a pre med degree funnels your choices after 4 year study, if you don't get accepted there's not alot you can do with it.

But back on topic....

You imply that the main factors to success are white skin color, teachers who care, field trips, and clean water. But then you go on to insult redhonda76 by showing how you are successful and imply that he isn't by questioning what he is doing with his life.

The meaning behind your response to redhonda76 is that a) you worked hard to become successful and b) he needs to "do something" (ie work hard) for success, just like you

You can't have it both ways.

He tried to insult me with childish remarks and i checked his ass, This doesn't defer from the fact that there's alot of factors to success besides hard work, It really doesn't have to do with being white, but the majority of people who have access to these resources just so happen to be white so..

OP is conflicted on what white privilege/supremacy is. On one hand, he says "success doesn't have to do with being white" and that it is by chance that white people have access to "resources"

Leme be clear with you,Its a combination of hard work and resources that equal success, Black people statistically are less enriched with resources that allow for the to achieve success. When they meet these resources they exceed expectations.

On the other hand, he implies that skin color does matter, and that "black males have it tougher than anyone." I didn't say it was the end all be all, I said it just so happens that white people have more resources and are more likely to have generational wealth than black people, and this is due to systematic white supremacy in this country barring black people from those generational wealth opportunities and resources.. with things Such as having farm land taken from them, gentrification, being denied business loans, and other things of sorts..

Thank the Dems for that. The Republicans have wanted to reform the public school system for decades but the Dems are absolutely against it because of their ties with the teacher's union.

One party wants black parents to have the right to choose which school they send their children to. The other party fights AGAINST black parents having that right.

First of all, you created a topic "When did white supremacy end in america, and discuss". Although there is nothing wrong with that, the way you started, it feels like a troll post. Why do you think Patrick Chewing and I responded to you like we did? We've been in this forum for such a long time and we've seen so many troll post ridicules topic and tried to stir hatred, stupidity, and racism.
If you want people to take you seriously, you should have put more thoughts into it than just put in "discuss". You've mentioned you've got a 3.9 gpa and will be going to med school. Shouldn't a highly educated person be putting a lot of thoughts into starting a post instead of just "discuss"?

To prove my point.... notice on your other post you created " How long will the united states empire last". When you put more thoughts into it than just "discuss", notice that people took your post seriously and were happy to respond to it.

Since I grew up poorer than 95% of African Americans, or anyone for that matter, and in a single household...

Either I'm just that ****ing awesome or your argument sucks ass.

I joined the military. Did being white help me? No, in fact, a recruiter gets BONUS points for recruiting minorities and females so in that regard, I am the only person that policy doesn't benefit.

Did being white help me get into school? No, I signed up for community college to knock out the first two years of my degree; like anyone can if they want to. Again, I am part of the only group you can legally discriminate against when it comes to college enrollment.

Did being white help me get a job? No, I took the one job nobody else wanted... Third shift overnight. I took it with a smile on my face; and then 10 months later I got promoted to an office job at corporate.

So am I that ****ing awesome, or does your argument suck big balls?
