The EU is desperate for money. I expect they'll be more back Tax claims on other companies.

EU desperate for cash, now coming up with bullshit laws and also antagonizing loyal member state Ireland. Are they trying to create an Irelexit?

As if we needed another example of EU stupidity... Both Apple and Ireland plan to fight EU demands to pay these taxes. Ireland doesn't want the taxes lollllll. Even US Treasury chimed in to back Apple. Rename thread to RIP EU

EU trying to isolate Ireland and drive them away now too.

Apple might make shitty products, but they are much better than the EU.

Let it die.

If they can't get this $30,000,000,000 from Apple, how will they stay afloat?

But money desperately needed by the EU to make up for the loss of income from taking advantage of the UK.

So will the EU try to ban apple products? Nokia only now.

That will cause full-scale rioting. Euros are obsessed with Apple products. They get more hyped than we do for releases of new ipads and iphones and shit. Nearly every major European capital has a giant Apple store located in a prime location wherever the major shopping district is.

EU is dying. I love watching it flounder.

Apple is easy for that money. I'm not even an Apple fan and I they'll be fine.

If they actually riot over f*cking Apple products that's pretty damn sad. I don't doubt it though.

They make nearly that in just a quarter, so yes, they will be fine.

Nokia didn't go bankrupt, they reformatted their company to focus on other things like VR cameras for eventual virtual reality blockbuster movies, and got a nice contract with Disney amongst other things. They also regained the rights from Microsoft to get back into the phone business so their stock is actually one to follow with potential to bounce back
