Yeah.
Because curry is a 12 million per year player.
That's what he is worth.
He's not worth a MAX. A two time MVP.
Get that weak **** out of here.

Yep.
Adding a 30 ppg scorer to a 73 win team should at least make them competitive this year.

Everybody knows depth was GS's strength. They had to give that up to get Durant, so they have an uphill battle now. Back to being underdogs, where they thrive.

Definitely. Only 16 teams make the playoffs and the dubs are the 16th most stacked team. I think they can sneak into the playoffs and make some noise.

Every high IQ basketball fan knows the Warriors weren't stacked with superstar level talent.
Green was exposed in the Olympics as a system player.
Bran refuses to play with anything less than three superstar teams, while the Warriors barely had one in Curry.
Starting to think you might not actually know basketball.

Yea but I'm starting to think that you might not understand that having an unselfish and versatile alpha leader as your 3rd best player might be more beneficial than having a better player on paper who's uncomfortable without the ball, pouts, and plays no defense if he isn't working on offense.
You don't understand how teams work. You probably watched the Olympics and wondered why we weren't dominating the way we should have...but couldn't quite figure it out.
I'm trying to help you understand.

Much of that 73 win team has been gutted, including 2 starters and key bench players. This isn't Durant simply being added to the same team.

You've lost Barnes (garbage in the finals), Bogut (oft injured), and some role players (Ezeli, Barbosa, Speights). They've been replaced with Zaza, West and a top 3 player in the world in Durant. Virtually all of the 'key' players have remained - Curry, Thompson, Klay, Iggy, Livingston. A slight loss of depth with the addition of one of the best players in the world is not 'gutted'. Get real, and stop this pathetic damage limitation already. You might actually have stacked enough top-heavy talent to overcome the players voracious appetite for choking.

5 guys who have proven they can step up when it counts for a championship team are being replaced by 3 players, 1 who is a legit star but chokes the further he gets in the playoffs, and the other 2 who have not made meaningful impact in the playoffs even when on good teams. Also, 3 of the lost players are legit centers, but I'm sure Zaza will be enough to anchor the D at C for 48 minutes
Sure, the Warriors have replaced some of the lost talent, but now have to play people out of position. Too many people are so focused on the addition of Durant to see what the Warriors actually lost in balance and chemistry, so all they see is "a 73 win team just added Durant" which does not tell the whole story.
