We talking about players who recently retired whom you guys think can make good coachs.

1. Kobe Bryant - Probably isn't interested. He seems more likely to go into business. I'd like to see him buy a team if possible, if only because I want to see more Former players own teams.

2. Tim Duncan - Too reserved, ain't he? Though he might surprise.

3. Steve Nash- Point guards traditionally translate into coachs the best. Will we see this guy at the helm of a team? I think it could work.

4. KG (If he retires) - I want to see someone dare not to run back on D with this guy yelling his lungs out on the bench.

But seriously, yeah. I'd like to see Steve Nash try his hand at coaching.

Honorble mention - Shane battier. Intelligent, smart, been around some of the best and just gives me a good vibe.

I don't think either of them would make good coaches to be honest. Tim if he channels his inner Pop but that's about it

Kobe could, but he'd be way too intense and grate on his players. Kind of like Scott Skiles does.

Curious...why on earth do you think Kobe would make a good coach?

Also, KG has said he has no interest in coaching.

From that list I would say that Nash would have the most success.

Curious...why on earth do you think Kobe would make a good coach?

He is very intelligent.
He clearly mastered Basketball.
Played for Phil Jackson for many years.
Knows what it take to motivate players.

A top 15 player all time, why wouldn't he?

P.S: But really, if you read about the guy he does alot of things well. Business, marketing, and clearly has the drive to do something he decides to.

Honestly, I think Kobe's off-the-court behavior history precludes him from being trusted with a coaching position. Obviously it's one thing for a player to be involved in incidents like that... But a head coach? The league simply cannot risk that kind of damage to its reputation.

I love Kobe but Kobe seems like the type of has high expectations of player's work ethics and expect them to work hard and get better rather than developing them through his own effort.

I don't think Kobe or KG would be good. Both would suck the confidence out of their players. Nash would be best from that list, and already coaches Curry.
