View Full Version : Is it true that in the land of Muhammad public displays of Christianity are banned?

If it is true that in the area, not just the area, but the country most sacred to Muslims, that public displays of Christianity, other religions, and even atheism are banned, why are we bending over backwards to accept these people. I mean seriously WTF?
Don't call me a racist. Don't call me an Islamiphobe. Answer the question please.

Perhaps, but why would purposely surround yourself with members of this death cult. Seems suicidal to me unless these people will denounce Mecca, Medina and Saudi Arabia completely.. :confusedshrug:

Stop being ignorant.
Wouldn't the definition of ignorance be ignoring the intolerance of a particular religion, and letting intolerance into your country especially when these intolerant's offspring are even more radical, fundamental and less likely assimilate. Particularly when there are billions more people to choose from that don't hold this hate and intolerance?

You're not "bending over backwards."
And you certainly are not in control.
The worst sin in Islam is Associating Partners with Allah (Shirk).
Some relevant Verses to ponder upon:
9:31
They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.

Islam is not very tolerant.
Yet the West, the Christian West, is very tolerant of their religion. You can find mosques in every corner in this country practically. Not sure you'll see too many churches in Saudi Arabia, Iran, or Iraq.
"We have believed in God and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims in submission to Him."
“Do not say I am better than Jonah ibn Matta”
"Do not differentiate between the Prophets"
"Do not favor me over Moses"
"We (Muslims) believe in the Revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you (Jews & Christians); our Allah (arabic word for God, thats all) and your Allah is One" (29:46 AYA).
"The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah ... and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus" (42:13 AYA)
"Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians -- whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor shall they grieve" (2:62, 5:69, and many other verses).
- verses from KORAN & MUHAMMAD
So... no... not according to Allah (God, arabic word for God) / Koran or Muhammad... infact its a horrible SIN...
But then again, there is people and some can be idiots.... if you know what i mean...

If thats true, that sucks indeed. Here however (Balkans, fr. Yugoslavia) that has not been the case for 100s of years, even in (bosniak muslim) dominated countries/parts in fr. Yugoslavia (Bosnia, Sandzak-Montenegro) i however have not witnessed that, infact there is a church & a mosque 5-10 meters next to eachother right outside my balcony where christians/muslims pray, go out, talk, go inside eachothers places vice versa, go home & have some cay & cevapcici together :P... its beautiful & how it was meant to be...
fr. Yugoslavia was always like this, just pure multicultural awesomeness, until a dictator attempted to **** it up.

^My Great grandfather was an Ottoman Ferik, and yes, christians did have to pay a small tax, within the boundaries of the Empire, which was run by Sunni Muslim Turks.
But what patrick Chewing says is nonsense, THere are tens of thousands of Christian Churches in Iran, and Iraq, in areas where Assyrians stay, or where christian Arabs and persians and azeris stay. My homie Davood is from Ahvaz Iran, and he is 100% Iranian persian, and Christian, tons of churches back home in his hood in Iran.
Chewing is an american who knows nothing of these countries other than what a biased media tells him.
No chuches I know of In Saudi, which is where the entire family of my #1 girl stays, so I have "boots on the ground" there to confirm.
Also, In Israel public christian displays/proselytizing are prohibited too. Punishable offenses which can carry prison time. Christian church trips to the holy land are often total backfires, which turn the christians into burgeoning anti-semites.
i myself am agnostic, and hope more subsequent generations of the 3 major montheistic religions become such as well.
It's very unfortunate, as all 3 major monotheistic religions share the stories of Abraham, Moses, noah, etc, and only differ on the last two dudes (judaism think Jesus and mohammad are both false, and islam likes both of them but thinks jesus wasn't god himself, only a prophet of god)
Cooperation and the mutual symbiosis, show thru the history of terrestrial biology, to be what results in the long term survival of any species. Any parasitic or predatory relationship between species always meets an untimely fate without the occurence of mutual benefit.
And that same natural law goes for a bacterial colony on your dog's @ss, or an empire with a 500 year reign.

Muslims and Christians used to get along in most areas. Now Christians, Jews and athiests are persecuted more and more, where now they not only can't worship in public, but it's dangerous just to walk around if you are known to be a non-Muslim. I have a friend who's dad is an Egyptian Christian, he used to go to Egypt all the time, now he says, almost tearfully that he cannot return to his people to visit because it's simply too dangerous.
Let me ask you a question and I won't contest you on it. Answer honesty please. Are muslims in the middle east becoming less or more radicalized, fundamental and intolerant as time goes on?

All her older siblings and parents age are tending more towards conservative religious fundamentalism, as are poor illiterate dudes from rural areas.
But any younger demographic or more urban and educated demographic in the arab world or persian world is becoming WAY less radical.
The media is just telling yall otherwise. The younger generation over there mimics western culture just like every other young population. They just do it with more of their own culture retained is all.

Just because something is hard, doesn't mean we quit. We do the right thing. Are you even American?the major error in western imperial thought hasnt changed since the british and spanish empires.
The cycles of delicate intricate advances and brutal oppression which foster change, that occured over milennia, happen at different paces around the world. The western error is to assume our way of governance is the ideal, even in societies which have prohibitory cultural or genetic circumstances to such ideas.
Nations and regions and peoples must fauxment such advances internally and naturally, if those changes are to last centuries or millenia. otherwise it feels like an occupation and will ultimately fail, and cost lots of lives & money, which the bankers are happy to loan at interest on both sides.

The right thing to do is to look after your national interests, not let a foreign influence come in and push their own culture and religious fanaticism onto others.
That's what America SHOULD do if that is the country you care about. People coming to your country to find a better life is a privilege, not a right.
I think Putin has the right idea. If you aren't in Russia to promote Russian nationalistic values and interests and you can't behave, then stay out.
This backwards idea that you allow anyone in, let them misbehave and don't hold them accountable is a joke. Merkel done that and now look at the chaos in Europe.
These are just bad leftist policies that lacked any forward thinking.

That isn't happening. However if you start accepting backwards, segregational policies like that of Saudi Arabia like some are electing; then you have successfully let a foreign influence come in and push their ideals onto you.

At what point do you address a real problem?
If you have a culture that is coming in and changing the fabric of your society and your way of life and not appreciating the 'acceptance' that you seem to peddle here, then aren't you doing a disservice to America?
Those things are only possible if you protect your culture from external influences. Things don't magically just get better by ignoring the problem and shouting I'm a good guy because you are happy to let people come in and piss on your hard work?
You need to really sit down and think hard about your stance. You aren't the only one brainwashed by this type of thinking, it's ok to be wrong.

These are just bad leftist policies that lacked any forward thinking. Those policies are the result of decades of a combination of well-meaning doves who think just because they are collectivist angels, who will help any and everyone and never be selfish ...
... and a small handful of mega-wealthy, truly subversive b@stards, who think nationalism or any sense of patriotism is laughable and who will go country to trying to get what they can from it and move on.
The people who want to destroy western society to usurp world leadership, are using our own most kind hearted people and welcoming embracing nature to destroy the cultures they want to aspire to take the reigns from.
It's a weird coalition, to say the least.
One side of the coalition knowing full well what they are doing, for subversive and destructive reasons, and are thus the dictionary definition of INSIDIOUS. The other side of that coalition are mostly hippies and women who just love everyone like a puppy does, and that's really sweet and admirable.

It's happening in Europe, it's happening all over the world.
The only reason it isn't happening according to you is that muslims are 0.6% population in America. I guarantee you that shit hits the fan if that number gets to 7.5% like France has.
But don't worry, good old Hillary wants to increase muslim immigration so you won't have any troubles reaching that figure in the near future.
Let's be clear here, there is a saudi wahabbist push to have the bad type of muslims come into your country and Europe.
A majority will be peaceful with varying levels of extremism, but the minority can do a lot of damage. This minority within Islam that pushes fundamentalist Islam is out to destroy America and its allies. These saudi funded organisations fund the mosques that go into foreign countries, they fund the halal implementations, they fund key Islamic figures into key positions of government, basically to promote the Islamisation of the Western world.
This isn't a who is the most righteous contest. You should really care about these individuals who use people like you to shelter their sinister intentions.

As a matter of fact they do.
We have mosques popping up all over our country in places with no muslim population. We have huge problems with radical islam in our capital cities and huge violent protests and many unreported rapes at the hands of muslims 'just practicising their religious rights'. I suggested I COULD do something if I want to, but in reflection I chose my wording poorly and said something stupid.
Honestly, you are so quick to judge and one day you will slip up and wished you could take it back. We all make mistakes.
I honestly don't care anymore, some dude already reported me or whatever. If they were taking the threat seriously, I'd have intelligence agencies knocking on my front door.
Stop being a gossip queen you pathetic dropkick.

Initially I got a scare, like anyone would if they threatened their livelyhood.
But then I just didn't care. It's laughable, I know for a fact I would never do such a thing and I simply chose the wrong way to argue with someone.
Again, you're a complete d.ckhead. You don't know me and I'd like to keep it that way.
You more than cared. The entire board was laughing at you as you squirmed and begged your way to mercy, such was the panicked hat had set in you.
If you aren't the guy to issue terror threats, then you wouldn't have done it. Unfortunately for you, we all saw you do it. And we don't like bigots or terrorists.

Stop making terror threats and people won't care .
Nobody reported you because everyone felt sorry for you. Seeing a grown man weep and beg to keep his job got you sympathy. It was the most pathetic thing I'd ever seen.
Stick to terror threats boy. That's your forte.

Simple Math you say, The Hick?
Here's some simple math.
Your finite life on Earth has been reducing since the moment you were conceived.
When we die, we will all be judged for the choices we made in our lives.
If your good deeds and faith are in a positive balance, then your infinite life afterwards will be quite pleasant. If not... well.. let's... not go here.
Talking crap about a strict sect of Muslims is not going to better your condition. Actually, if you oppress someone in this world, in the Day of Judgment, they receive a portion of your good deeds and you receive a portion of their bad ones. You don't want to be transferring all the smiles, honesty, charity, service to men you've done to us Muzzies, now, do you, The Hick?
Thus, I invite you to hold your tongue and make wiser decisions for the welfare of your own soul.
Jews and Christians also do no want to go to Hell, either, and they want to do good deeds for the sake of the One God who created them.
Now let's implement Mill's Greatest Happiness Principle into this. How do we do what is best for all individuals involved. We A) learn the Scripture and apply it and B) have healthy competition upon who does the best deeds.
If you see the sick, visit them. If you see the poor, feed them. If you've got time, offer prayers. If you see a lady, avoid being lustful. If you see a situation where knowledge is missing, teach the people. If you see something evil, correct it. If you feel angry, bite your tongue. If you don't like someone, try to understand where they're coming from.
Easy.
These, among many other things, are among Allah's commandments given to all folks of the faith.
