I hope this does not backfire.
I think already it did in this summer.

GM's are salty towards him and refuse good deals out of spite in my opinion.
That's what happens when you're the best GM in the league for the last 10 years or so.

"Strength of schedule" is almost meaningless when it comes to the NBA. Sometimes it's relevant when you are talking about teams in two different conferences. But over 82 games the only difference in the schedule between the Brooklyn Nets and any other team in the Eastern Conference is the three or four games they will play against each other.
