Idiot barber practically shaved my head

Been going there for 4-5 years. Same instructions every time. Most of the barbers there are bad, but there was a new guy today, so I thought maybe he'd be good because he wasn't jaded like the others who clearly don't give a ****.

I tell him what I usually get, and he grabs the electric razor and BOOM starts shaving from my forehead to the back of my head. I only ever get a trim and maintain lots of hair on my head, so I was practically in shock when he did that. no time for me to dodge, or even realize, what he was doing until he buzzed a line straight across my head.

Happened to me when I was 14. Told the new barber cutting my hair at the local shop I normally went to routinely I wanted a 2 on the sides. Mfer proceeded to give me a 2 on half of the top of my head. I'll never forget that day. I was like a sophmore in HS and I was practically bald with some big ass ears too cus at the time I didn't grow into my ears LOLL

Really good barber near where I live. I went to him once and I asked for what I wanted but he convinced me to try something new and it was the nicest haircut I've ever gotten. I've now adjusted my cut to that look and been happy with it ever since. He's always got a line and probably one of the only reasons why that barbershop is very successful (one other good barber and a few other average ones). My old place was insanely popular and they did haircuts as quickly as possible to get the next customer (very low quality though once you checked out other places). They've been around for like 2 decades and have developed a reputation in it's neighborhood.
