No kids or anything like that.

Would you rather have a job that pays pretty well with normal hours but your job is a boring desk gig and nothing new ever really happens. (50K+ salary)

Or a job that pays a really low entry level salary with insane hours but your job is exciting, you get to travel, and always working on a new project.(under 30k)

Would depend what the potential is for each IMO. Does the boring office job get more interesting when you get to the next level? Does the fun job eventually give you the opportunity to raise your salary? Etc

50k+ job easily. Spend time finding a new job that is more exciting and equal or better pay. Spend time outside of job doing things you enjoy and not having to stress about your job.

This

You can do exciting things on your free time, with a bit of cash in hand to boot.

If you rely on your job for some excitement in your life, you might want to step out into the real world once in a while...

aka consulting, except companies pay big bucks for consultants, especially ones with their MBA from a top 20 business school.

Dead ass, the average base salary for a consultant who has their MBA is $140,000. That's not even counting signing bonus (usually around 20-30k) or performance bonus (20-25% of base salary).

That's my goal, bruh. **** settling for 50-60k starting, let's go make this money.

And that's entry level shit.

The way these companies work is you either get promoted or you are out (every 24-36 months), and even if you are out your exit opportunities are very good. Not to mention you just made ~500k for 3 years of work (before taxes).

Lol.

Consulting, as I'm sure you know, means sharing your expertise with others who need it.

In which realms of business do you intend to counsel people? What exactly is your expertise?

If your thought process is "**** making 50-60k, consultants make more so I'm gonna be a consultant!" I think you're doing it wrong.

Why don't you first figure out what you can provide of value to people in business, and then worry about how much income you can earn from it.

Chill buddy lol, I'm in the process of doing that. Getting my Bachelors in BA & MIS, then applying to UF for their MBA program (#31 Business school in the nation...not top 20, but my friend got a consulting job offer and he's still in school for Industrial Engineering, something UF isn't really known for).

This isn't something I'm going to achieve tomorrow, it's gonna be years in the making. Inshallah, sooner than later.

be adventurous and take risks when you're young, you have the rest of your life to work the "steady, stable, boring" job.

You never know what the other one could lead to.

Probably good reasons why most of the world is financially fkd..
The amount of businesses that hire these shit for brains with no experience straight from university is scary..
