James Harden is the best example in the league of a one way player.

I hate the whole "empty stats" argument, but if there is such a thing this would be a perfect example.
Only effected one side of the game and even then his impact isn't reflexive of his great stats.

However though, this shows how much stronger the league is. Harden would've been 2nd team in the 90s.

Harden was better than Lillard or Klay. Klay just doesn't carry an offense like Harden and Lillard is also terrible on defense and I doubt many people have him more impactful than harden on offense. Lowry might have actually deserved it since we're talking only RS.

Numbers aren't everything OP. Harden has a loser's attitude...

You could easily say the same thing about how Deandre Jordan wouldn't be 1st team in the 90's.

And in the 90's you still had Jordan, Drexler, Miller, Richmond, Stockton, Payton, K. Johnson, Kidd, Price, Hardaway, etc.

Fair point. The Center position is definitely weaker offensively now. But with the upcoming young players that hopefully will change.

And aside from MJ, Harden would definitely have an argument over everyone else.

GOAT era

What would be a at least a 2nd team selection in the '80s doesn't cut it today:applause:
