Westbrook might have a shot. He's a stat freek so it may be a goal for him

As mentioned, Westbrook definitely has a good chance this year.

Lebron coasting and KD/Curry taking shots from each other.
Also there's no KD so he can be as ball dominant as he wants to rack up assists.

I think Westbrook has the best chance to do it this season. But mainly because he'll just be dominating so much time of possession with the ball in his hand.

Only other option that could've done it based on mentality and passing ability would've been LeBron or Wade. Never happened though.

In order to lead the league in scoring and assists, you need a wizard at dribbling, at the Rucker Park streetball legend level, have a superior penetrating game than either Isiah Thomas or Allen Iverson.

Be nigh unstoppable at getting to the rim, fearless in challenging the big guys. Be an ironman, with incredible stamina and toughness. Such penetrating game will earn open daylight for accurate jumpshooters on the team, racking up the assists, get cheap dimes off a penetrating & kickout game.

That sure sounds like Nate Archibald. :oldlol:

Rondo could very well achieve it this season
