So me and a girl who I just met decided to hang out tonight, we went to this local park that had a creek, as we get there we walk and sit on a bench that is just by the creek, I noticed a bad smell but I figured it was coming from the water, anyways.... we are there just talking and fooling around a bit and we start talking about how a body was found here a few months back, I jokingly say to her that this place is probably haunted, a few minutes go by and we are enjoying ourselves and out of nowhere we both look up and see a body hanging from a tree, we just see his 2 legs and his lower body, my heart fvcking sank, this thing was right above us for 20+ minutes and we didn't even notice it. We both get up immediately and she proceeds to call the cops, as we are waiting for the cops I put my flashlight from my phone on the body to confirm if it was really a body and it sure looked like it, I notice that the girl left her phone on the bench and I quickly go to the bench to grab it with this corpse right above me, while all this is going on the girl who I am with starts crying and she even shouted when a sprinkler in the park went off.

The cops show up, we show them where the body is, 3 of them go and investigate, they are flashing the lights on the thing for a good 2 minutes, one of them comes back and tells us that indeed it is a body and it has been there for a while. He takes down our info and tells us we can leave now and that he's sorry we had to see that. I drop her off home and while I'm riding by myself I just have this numb feeling and my heart was still pounding.

Keep in mind guys, this story is 100% true and it just happened about an hour ago, I will post articles of this story tomorrow to confirm. Right now I am in my bed just shell shocked and wondering how the hell am I going to sleep tonight. Just thought I'd share with ISH.

When you saw your first dead body were you a bit shaken by it? I'm sure you get used to it when you see more and more.

This shit I feel will haunt me for a while, just seeing his legs dangling from the tree in the middle of the night is a sight that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

A little taken back but not shaken. It depends on your mindset. You can freak yourself out over it if you think about it in a certain manner. In reality it is natural and it happens to everyone, we just tend to stick it in the back of our heads and don't think of it most of the time.

No, but seriously... that's a f*cked up story.

You will probably have minor flash backs of this event for awhile.

I tried to tell everybody... "Death does not wait for you to be ready."

Crazy thing is is that I just saw a Vice Doc about a suicide Forrest in Japan where people hang themselves a few weeks back. I highly recommend it, it has a nice message at the end.

Did it look like a suicide or someone hung them in the tree?

We cared for my grandmother at home through hospice, so I saw her die. I had time to mentally prepare, and she went peacefully, so it wasn't a traumatic experience.

I asked the cop if it was a suicide and he said that most likely it was.

I jokingly say to her that this place is probably haunted

Turns out you weren't far off from that being the truth.

Unbelievable dude, we are at this bench talking about a dead body being found here a while back and that it is probably haunted while this other dead body is right above us. Straight out of a scary movie I swear.

Have you ever thought like, if you found a dead body, but it's still fresh. Like, very fresh you know. And it is of a young girl. And you were alone. Would you, you know, try to like, have your way with her before calling the cops? I mean just, smelling her and stuff, act like you're trying to help her but at the same time touching her and perform CPR and stuff. It might be kinda weird I dunno.

These are the kinds of events in life that test your 'Fear Factor'

If I see a dead body hanging from a tree...
I'd probably lose my $hit for a good minute.

I thought they were supposed to beat you...? Hmm...

Welp... shit happens. At the very least, you probably brought some closure to someone's unsolved mystery.
