You consider 2001 and 2002, with a 40 year old MJ, part of his era? Doesn't say much if that era wasn't defined by a younger prime Superstar, does it?

Kobe won 1 championship while Jordan was playing, and it was old Jordan coming out of retirement to play with the Wizards, and Kobe was being carried by Shaq.

Mike would've made that flopping, colluding, footwork lacking, no mid-range game having and throw a finals away LeBron fold like a chair mentally in the playoffs. Don't even mention that dude in the same sentence as MJ.

If LeBron played against Jordan in the 90s, Jordan would have had less FMVPs. Kukoc would have won 1 or 2 instead.

MJ only lost to real men, not guys who tried to get another player suspended (Green), flopped, couldn't refine his game, colluded and was just a straight diva with his lame Twitter pics and messages. No way a real killer like MJ loses to a guy like that. Just not possible.

LeBron would swat one of MJ's trademark Dunks and Layup. They are basically in the same tiers. Both are 3x NBA Champions, and 4x NBA MVP at aged 31.

You're such an insecure b*tch that you constantly make threads like this in order to convince yourself of something that's not true.

After 13 seasons Jordan already had 6 rings, 6 finals MVPs and no finals losses.

After 13 seasons LeBron has already lost 4 finals (2 historically embarrasing: the biggest upset in NBA Finals History vs the Mavs in 2011 and the biggest historical margin loss against the Spurs in 2014).

If LeBron was going to "pass Jordan" and "match him", guess what? It wouldve happened by now. You wouldn't have to wait another 7 seasons for it to become true. As if taking more seasons, more finals losses/appearances to win a lesser amount of rings makes you better.

Which Jordan Rules? Certainly not these (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2v0LOhjsJs), so maybe this one (http://www.nytimes.com/1987/11/04/sports/challenges-for-jordan-new-league-rule-and-new-role.html)? If so, that rule change was made to apparently limit Jordan by stopping teams from isolating 1 on 1

If you're referring to the hand check rule, refs hardly changed their approach to hand checking until the last changes to it around 04, where they clarified it

I kind of went overboard with the LeBron insults but you youngsters have to see where i'm coming from. I saw the true GOAT play live and when you witnessed that, everything else pales in comparison. But here are some reasons I don't respect LeBron as much as MJ.

1) Flopping (Dude, you're freaken a tank and you need to resort to that?)
2) 2011 Finals (The lights were too bright and he wanted to hide)
3) Colluding (Pretty much handpicking his own team twice)
4) Diva type attitude on Twitter when Curry got too much juice (Jealousy?)
5) Getting Draymond suspended (We all know it was LeBron's post game comments that got him suspended. That's a bit*h move)
6) Bad footwork and lack of post game (This tells me he isn't trying to perfect every aspect of his craft)

MJ, on the flip side, never flopped, never shied away from the moment (he failed trying sometimes but never held back), never colluded, never got anyone suspended (although he did not want Isiah on the 1992 Dream Team) and his skill level was about as polished as anyone in history. He was just a killer and built from a different cloth from LeBron.

You sure that's not a 9 foot rim or something? How tall are you? But the way you took off looks awkward. Too much wasted motion. You come across as a pretty good athlete who can jump but don't play ball so you decided to try to dunk and succeeded. I play with guys who can dunk regularly. If all you can do is jump, I would smoke your ass.

Other a couple biased remarks, this isnt that bad. I think it's a generation thing.

Generation X( Which is Jordan, barkley, Pippen) were taught you had to work hard and the harder you work, the more successful you become. The problem is these people get stuck and just like in the real world, they become mid management.

Generation Y early ( Which is Lebron, Carmelo, Derrick Rose, etc) saw the flaws in the system of Generation X. Generation Y believes you work hard but you don't become a slave to it. You find ways to work smarter. Generation Y is also much more disloyal because of the constant need to be on top.

Kobe winning two more titles in 2009 and 2010, and ultimately eclipsing Shaq's ring count, has nothing to do with the point you were making earlier, which was Kobe winning while MJ was playing. So the period of time in question was 2001 and 2002, that's the only time those two elements( Kobe winning a title, and MJ playing) interlaced. And Shaq was quite clearly the dominant player in the league those years.

Do you need it broken down further?

That's 10 all day g, it is attached to the ceiling it only has one level, you know what it is, how many universities have 9 foot rims hanging?

I've dunked hundreds of times, something you will never experience, I feel sorry for a Jordan stan who can only IMAGINE what it was like for him to play the game

I do have an awkward lanky style, I'm 6'2" with expansive reach and I would cook a midget like you with ease, pull up from 35 off the dribble with no hesitation!

You need to read up on what the "Jordan Rules" were.
The real "Jordan Rules" was Stern inventing the "Flagrant Foul" to protect Mikey

The NBA flagrant foul rule was enacted in the 1990s as an attempt to deter contact which, in addition to being against the rules, puts an opponent's safety and health at risk. According to the NBA rulebook, it applies to contact that puts safety and health at risk

Stern could no longer take chances of his cash cow getting hurt and acted upon MJ's complaints about Detroit.

Um no. That's dumb. You can't have NBA accolades if you're not in the league. And that's not an indictment on Jordan or even a criticism of LeBron. I think he should've went to college for at least 2 years. You learn a different form of basketball.

He might have learned a few more things but what he needed help with the most was in the wallet.

Any kid in his circumstances would have done the same thing and went to the Pro's. Pending on which school he committed to and their schedule....who would James have faced/big names his frosh and soph. seasons to improve his skills? Okafor, Ben Gordon, Deng, Duhon in 2004. Sean May, Fatty Felton, Marvin Williams, Luther Head, Rashad McCants in 2005??

Any teenager, with those abilities, would be dumb not to declare for the draft (when you were still able to w/o going to college)
