It is 2016 and Matt Hardy is currently in the middle of one of the greatest runs in wrestling of all time.

Tonight he gave Jeff Hardy special training by fighting a kangaroo.

He is seriously going on one of the greatest runs I have ever seen in pro-wrestling.

He owns a tiger in his backyard named Ghengis Kahn. It is ****ing amazing.

Pro wrestling is a purely American art form with a long and proud history.

japan and mexico have pretty respectable histories with it too

but yeah at the end of the day, it's carny shit that will probably never reach the same popularity and financial success as it had in the 80s and late 90s-early 2000s.

The modern style of professional wrestling, popularized by the United States and United Kingdom during the late 19th century, is called the catch-as-catch can style. Originally thought of as unorthodox and more lax in style, catch wrestling differs from Greco-Roman in its allowed grapples; Greco-Roman strictly prohibits grabbing below the waist, while catch wrestling allows holds above and below the waist, including leg grips. Both catch wrestling and Greco-Roman were popular, and fully competitive, amateur and professional sports. But, from the late 19th century onwards, a sub-section of catch wrestling changed slowly into the choreographed sport entertainment now known as "professional wrestling", recognized as much for its theatrical antics and entertainment as wrestling ability.[2]

aj styles is probably having a better 2016 btw

matt is more or less carrying tna and almost single-handedly stopping it from going out of business. it's the reason why he's basically doing 100% his own ideas and not being affected with all the other crap going on there

Ok you are right, AJ Styles has been the best match wise.

But Matt has an all time great level gimmick and character and is carrying TNA on his back like you said.

AJ Styles great achievements this year can't be taken away from him though.
