Raw simple , and truly inspiration to so many young small men playing the game...
Before there was a Curry , Answer was the man,, and played Defense as well.

I've honestly never cared for Iverson.
Most overrated player in history.

Carried the 76'ers offensively to the final and shit on everyone in the regular season as a 5'9, 165lb player as MVP. Even stole a game from the most dominant player all time that was in his prime Shaq. Not very efficient, but had no one else on his team that could shoot.

One thing everyone can agree on (and I was never really a fan of his)- AI is 100% authentic. What you see is what you get. :applause:

This. In today's game, everyone is a non-authentic yes man who rehearses what they are going to say with their public relations adviser. It's a joke.
AI be like "we talkin bout practice?"

Huh? He played defense just like Curry, huge steal numbers because he gambled on every passing lane he could. AI was a shit defender, just like Curry. Both are class nonetheless.

Phenomenal speech he just gave.
It's been said a million times but his impact on the game goes way beyond what he did on the court.
He impacted tons of people including myself with his style. He brought the Hip-Hop culture to the game.

Honestly Iverson never cared for salty ass whiteboys , who hate and talk shit on the internet either.
It is clear you didn't watch the speech, you just came straight into the thread and posted that response.

Can you blame players nowadays though, people get offended so easily you have to give boring answers if you don't want to be vilified.

Too bad his prime was in the hand check era. If he played in the current era he'd be unguardable going to the rim.

AI thanked 2Pac, Biggie, Redman, Jadakiss and Michael Jackson in his speech.
It gets no realer than that. That's why people love him.

Good point. The average fan doesn't have a back bone and is soft as hell compared to fans back then.

damn time is flying by...used to emulate his moves on the court back in the day.
most fearless and toughest player I've ever seen play.
