Do you party?
Go to a club?
House party?
Low key family dinner?
Tugging it alone to a movie?

The last 3 years I've had a house party/poker tourney. Although this year I'll probably take a low key trip with my family. Probably down to Winnipeg and see cousins.

I work or find something to do to forget about the pain.

I'm an adult now so I couldn't care less, it's just another day

I can party or celebrate 365 days a year

Probably best not to. I did for the first 24 years of my life, and looking back, I cry (yes you read that) and feel enormous disgust at my self for receiving cake and luxuries while Somalians don't have access to running water, Black people are deprived of nutrition + equal treatment, parents suffer excruciating lives dulling their spirit, mexicans are breaking their backs simply to just get by one more day, and even well-off Americans lack sound peace of mind etc.

Not to sound morbid or preachy, but it's something that is really really really unnecessary and can be replaced by something better for a more lasting happiness to each individual. I don't think any Naive American tribes who respect the Earth's balance, for example, would deplete additional resources on the Earth to glorify them selves.

And whatever pleasure/happiness was attained from the "celebration" came and went away in a split moment.

It's not really us, human beings, that were responsible for staying alive over the years you know. We aren't the ones creating food, or sustaining the atmosphere, or consciously utilizing intelligence to perform all the body mechanisms needed to be physical.

Better to give praise to the One who sustains us, and allocate the resources for the b-day to needier hands.

At a strip club like most grown men.

I care less and less about birthdays the older I get, my last B-Day I just had a small bbq at my house with some friends over, just drinking and playing cards all night.

Yesterday was mine. Went to my farmhouse with a bunch of friends. Shitty beers (that's all we get in India) and a couple of bottles of Glenlivet 18. We also took a person with us to make us hookah. Pretty fun overall.

I really don't do much besides a dinner with some people. Even on my 21st, I just stayed in with a few beers. Granted I remember going out a few days later on the weekend as a treat.

Most ppl do small bday parties in their apartment. The best party I've ever been to was my friends 22nd. He was a really popular dude on campus so the place was packed but spacious enough to meet new ppl/have convos, leave a few mins and come back etc. I think the night ended at like 3-4am when ppl were finally leaving to go home. I wasn't available for his last one and apparently that was awesome too.

It stopped being a celebration once I hit 30. Now it's just one year closer to death.

Celebrate low key with a few people. I'm turning 35 this year. They aren't a big deal anymore. I'll be happy if someone buys me some new socks or something I need along those same lines.

I adopt a dog from the local shelter and sacrifice him to Ra, eating his heart in the process.
