:wtf: I'm a Kobe stan, but this is NOT a good argument.
Kobe was elite from 2000-2013
Shaq was elite from 1992-2006
Seems like the Diesel has the edge here as well. :(
There is literally no argument for having Kobe over Shaq

Guys like Kobe wanted to show the world they could win by NOT playing with the most dominant man of all time, Shaq.
Kobe did exactly that, TWICE which is why when guys like KD and Lebron join stacked teams, they look like bitches because Kobe stuck with the same team his entire life and then capped it off with a 60 point last game.

Because Shaq himself said so.
Shaq's word > all objective measures that say Kobe was a sidekick to Shaq half his career.

Kobe moulded Shaq into the player he became. It's no surprise his stats plummeted instantly when he left the lakers. By all means, Shaq was a loser before and after kobe. he also colluded with the 2 greatest sgs of all time and failed to even eclipse kobe in ringcount despite team hopping to contender after contender for a decade. Kobe won multiple championships with Pau Gasoft as his go to guy.
Shaq has no argument over Kobe. And as stated above, Shaq agrees.

Shaq's own documented testimony on the subject.

Kobe won more rings without Shaq, than vice a versa. If Pippen had won the 2000 title with the blazers, would that have made him better than Jordan?
If those 6 bulls rings were all won with Jordan as the lead dog, then it doesn't matter if scottie had won an additional one. Jordan would have 6 rings as the man and scottie would have had 1.

Kobe moulded Shaq into the player he became. It's no surprise his stats plummeted instantly when he left the lakers.
Shaq averaged 21.5 PPG on 58% in '04 with the Lakers. Averaged 22.9 PPG the very next season on 60% with the Heat. In nearly 3 fewer minutes played.

Shaq won a ring 2 seasons after leaving the Lakers. Dude was way past his prime and Kobe was still in his prime in '09 and '10.
Kobe would be ringless without Shaq/Pau. That's a fact.
Shaq has no argument over Kobe. And as stated above, Shaq agrees.

Nope. Shaq was elite from the outset, 1992 up till 2006. That's 14 years. Kobe was elite from 2001-2013, 12 years, injured 2 years after that, and then this final season that.....yeah. Kobe barely played his rookie year, 26mpg his second, didn't become a full time starter until his third, and became a legit star in his 4th. Shaq also played 3 years of college ball, a higher level of play and 'wear and tear', if you want to use that argument, compared to HS ball.
