As all of you know, the Knicks are trying to employ the Triangle offense.

The last proven run with this offense led to back to back titles,

Do you think this offense is outdated due to being too hard to learn?
The only coach I know of to actually use this effectivly was Phill Jackson.

Do you see another coach making effective use of it?
Do you think it's going to remain dormant and be used later on by perhaps one of his former assistants and players?

Or do you think it's a dead system that can't work without a superstar guard and elite big man?

Discuss.

The Warriors use triangle elements all the time, Kerr straight up said he's ripped off a lot from the triangle for his modified offense. You just need specific personnel and coaching to run it purely, which is why it's going to be rare going forward. But plenty of teams will pick up bits and pieces of it.

It's literally just spacing. All good teams run aspects of it.
