I mean really :confusedshrug:

Dude , played as a MVP into a finals and sucked.
He got owned so many times , mental melt downs in critical times, and acted like a hot dog.

You've seen it on the playground, as well as at the gym.

It's beyond me , why he even has a fan base.... people just like whimps :confusedshrug:

2x MVP, 1x champ, greatest shooter of all time. Gee, why does he have fans? :hammerhead:

I think it's silly to say he shouldn't have fans since he's obviously a great player.

However, if you think he's above or even equal with Bron, that's a problem.

Great upbringing, great family, good person. Didn't collude, let the team be built around him.

Basically represents everything that KD and Lebron are not.

Curry has "let the team be built around him" for 7 (going on 8) years. LeBron did it for 7 years. KD for 9. I would wait to see how the KD experiment goes before I try to claim any sort of loyalty. Curry would be gone without 3 All Stars and a FMVP on his team.

He certainly is opposite of LeBron and KD with how privileged he grew up but that certainly doesn't help his sense of entitlement, his fake humbleness and temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way.

He doesn't really hide the fact that he's arrogant, otherwise he wouldn't celebrate like he does. Only thing is he gives boring interviews like any smart baller right now.

Did Curry cuck Jasper's mom, dude has been melting down on Steph and he's not even a Bron fan. At least with them I get it, with him it's confusing.

Great player.
Very entertaining to watch.

One of the best players in the league right now,
Very 'Fun'. His crazy 3pt duel with Omri casspi was awesome as hell.

Not to mention some crazy layups and off the dribble shooting.

Just because Curry lost in the Finals to a superior player does not make him unworthy of having fans.

Heck, he might be the champion next year.

You realize how many all-time great players had terrible playoff/finals performances? It happens. People aren't perfect.

As for Curry, I'm a Warriors fan, not a Curry fan. Obviously I support him because he's on my team, and I think he's an amazing player... but if he went to another team, I wouldn't support him like I do. Believe it or not, despite the fact that I'm a Warriors fan, I'm not a fan of the modern era of 3-point shooting basketball. I prefer a more balanced approach to the game.

Curry's shooting is transcendent. Dude set the 3-pt record at 286, then the very next season became the first to break 300 and then went on to get over 100 more and broke 400. He broke 400 3's before anyone else came within 20 3's of even reaching 300

To put that into perspective, Peyton Manning has the single season touchdown pass record at 55. Imagine if the year after setting that, he broke that record with about 77 or 78. That's about the same thing is Curry did. Or the home run record Barry Bonds set at 73 was broken a year later with 102. When you're doing that type of shit, you're something special and pushing the sport to new standards. There was even talk of adding a 4-pt line

Curry's 1st Finals wasn't nearly as bad as people say it was, he started off slow but came up huge to close out the series in the last few games (Sound familiar?). The 2nd Finals he definitely underperformed but that in no way should affect his standing in the league and to most non-biased observers, it hasn't. Bron wasn't suddenly undeserving of fans after his 1st and 2nd Finals appearances were disastrous and sub-par, respectively, both resulting in losses. Went from performances like those to ATG performances

Just enjoy the game. Barring an injury, Curry's career will be very interesting to follow

Your post reads like a laughable combination of the least respectable aspects of the two lead characters in Gran Torino.

This is why

Perhaps the most critical segment of this series came at the end of the third quarter of Game 4, Cleveland cutting the Warriors lead to three. The Q was rocking. The Finals hung in the balance.

Curry calmly called for the ball, shook a defender and drained a three, pushing Golden State to a six-point lead. In a reversal of roles, a gassed LeBron tried to answer with a three of his own at the buzzer, only to miss badly. When James went to the bench to rest at the start of the fourth quarter, the Warriors seized control of the game and the Finals.

Curry finished with 22 that night. He then dropped 37, including 17 in the fourth quarter, in Game 5. On Tuesday, he dropped a couple of massive threes to help stem a fourth-quarter Cleveland surge, then when double-teamed, hit a wide-open Klay Thompson for another.

[quote]
[SIZE="3"][I]Not only did Curry average an MVP-like 26 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in 43 minutes per game, but as Kerr told his point guard, sometimes a point guard has to put his own game now in favor of managing the game for his teammates.

That is what Curry relayed when he said in the postgame press conference, "The Finals are not that different from normal NBA games. It's just the spotlight is different, and soar are the expectations. When you have an average game, you find out in the Finals that people were expecting more. But really, that stuff doesn't matter. It's all about winning. That's what I've learned. I just need to impact games, be myself every other night, do other things to help my team win and be OK with that. Manage the game from a point-guard standpoint, find a way to win and that's what we did

Most 4th Quarter Points during the Finals

2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)

One final and now he is a hero to so many = PATHETIC /
