Now Let's go with the next voting process-

Best 2nd Draft Pick of all time:
While I'll give an honorble mention to Isiah Thomas,

This one goes to KD imo.
Edit: Like many others, I had no idea Bill was a 2nd pick. Going with him.

Kevin Durant - 2
Isiah Thomas - 2
J.Kidd - 1
Bill Russell- 6

Weird how historically the second best player was usually not drafted second in their draft class. I would say Jason Kidd or Zeke. I'll go with the one with the championship

Isiah Thomas
Won championships and generally regarded as a top 10 if not top 5 pg of all time

I know right?
It seems there's no real -heavy- spot beside the 1st one.
Other then that it kinda splits evenly with all time greats going in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th and so on.

Jason Kidd...Durant hasn't done enough yet. ^^^ If we are going to go all the way back to that era though...then I guess it has to be Bill.

Hmmmm lets see.

Isiah Thomas:

2 Rings
1 FMVP
Once scored 43 in a finals game while limping on the court

Kevin Durant:

0 Rings
0 FMVP
Once blew a 3-1 series lead in the WCF

Gonna go with Isiah.

EDIT:

Oh shit Russell was a 2 pick?

Change it to Bill.

I'd have to go with Kevin 'The Servant" Durbeta but closely followed by Thomas and Payton

Russell was technically the 3rd pick, because the rules worked differently with territorial selections.

KD.

A lot of all time greats were no.2 picks.

Bill Russell
Bob Pettit
Jerry West
Bob McAdoo
Rick Barry
Isiah Thomas
Alonzo Mourning
Gary Payton
Jason Kidd
Kevin Durant

I would nominate the 2nd picks who turned out to be undoubtely better than the year's 1st picks as final candidates - Russell, Pettit, Durant stand out for me. Anyway the answer is rather easy with Bill Russell.
