Downtown is pretty dead at night. There's some bars that are gaining traction and giving life to the nightlife but it still has ways to go. When downtown becomes more lively, I'll consider moving into a loft or high-rise apartment. Until then, I can't justify to pay $1500-2000 a month on rent for a living space.
But the absolute worst is the 3 months of hell. Over 110 temperatures on the reg. Once you get through those 3 montha, the weather is wonderful. Feb-April are absolutely gorgeous here in Phoenix.

It's too damn crowded at times. Rush hour, mass transit is horrible and you can't even get on the train and have to wait for the next one.
Plus anywhere that's worth a damn living, is expensive af.

New York
Too much fun things to do you lose focus of your goals
Number one reason why many HS basketball players transfer to Connecticut or NJ for HS. Look at any NBA guy from NY, chances are they spent a year or two in another HS out of state

Yes, especially your shitty tolls lane. Was with a friend a few weeks ago and he thought it was a normal carpool lane, then I get a charge from my rental company. Plus the traffic the entire day. Fk yall.
