when i think of boring players to watch, both lebron and duncan come to mind.

kobe is the most entertaining player i've seen. love him or hate him, the man puts on a show. MJ and Tmac are close 2nd and 3rd.

whats your top 3?

If it's based on people I paid to see play, which really is a true indication of entertainment level or fandom.

MJ
Kobe
D-Rose
Wade
LeBron
Iverson
Curry

And I'd like to see CP3, and Kyrie. Possibly Durant, not sure yet.

Jordan, Dennis Rodman, were pure entertainment to watch, due to their skills at what they do. Though he might not have the most aesthetically pleasing game, for number 3 I go with Lebron, because how he dominates.

Curry, by far, for me at least.

It was so epic watching him the last two seasons. I've probably watched as many Warriors games as I have Heat games these past two seasons.

Curry is just prime time, and brought something completely new to the game. He is in a way like this generations Shaq. Dominating in a way we haven't seen prior.

Live

Magic - he decieves you and makes the ball appear on the other side of the court. Nothing like seeing the Laker formation absorb the court.

Jordan - young Jordan amazing reverse layups and dunks. He could literally climb the AIR. You could see his will take over games.

Rose - the weaving in and out and exploding at the rim is crazy drama. Speed, quickness and seeing a player manipulate three or four players is spell binding.

HM. Clyde Drexler. Grace
Curry - the high arc is great.

TV

Hakeem - surgical
AI - energizer bunny
Lebron - young Lebron who was great live too.

HM. Kyrie the moves

Shaq - raw power
Vince Carter - leaping ability

If you guys like ball handles and creativity Tim Hardaway was really fun to watch. He's kind of like your modern day Kyrie. Less elusive but more powerful. He had an ackward but accurate shot. I wish they would have kept that team together with Sprewell and Webber. That could have been fun to watch.

Jordan, Lebron, Magic, Bird, Maravich, Reggie Miller, Penny Hardaway....

Growing up in the early 90s all i remember is that i found Shawn Kemp to be the most entertaining, he was such a posterizing monster, jumped so high, dunked so hard, but what made it even more fun is that he put that extra sprinkle on top of those dunks like nobody could, i mean he had these funky reactions, celebrations, staredowns after each dunk... stuff like:

http://sports.cbsimg.net/images/visual/whatshot/KempCelebration.gif

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-R98-7i9LE70/UBQSUTUWaFI/AAAAAAAAAXA/-Rrsl9QfB8o/s400/1.gif

This is only what people have seen in the highlights.... but he was like that every after every dunk from what i remember, always something new... like one time i remember he dunked on Rik Smits & he would then cross his arms up, start staring at the opposing bench with his disgusted mug like *oooooh!*, shake his head and just.... stand there, inch infront of them, doing that, for so long... while the game was going on on the other end of the floor... :lol
Cant find everything on youtube...

Man the game has changed, its not as entertaining anymore without the trashtalking & physicality. :(

I agree with this. Curry this past season was unreal. It's a shame he couldn't really bring that same magic to the playoffs, but hopefully he continues to improve so he can start having playoff runs as historic as his regular season dominance

My Top 3 would probably be

Curry
Pre-Injury D-Rose
Jordan

Wade, Kobe, T-Mac and Lebron (Younger Bron) up next, probably in that order too

Prometheus
09-20-2016, 02:38 PM
Jordan, Iverson, Kobe

Bron just a tiny bit below

But when those 3 were in their primes i never wanted to miss a game. Honestly maybe mostly for kobe. He might not have been as great as mj, but for sheer entertainment i would call him GOAT

I get it. He's a beast, but his game isn't exactly the most aesthetically pleasing game. He's so dominant that he makes it look easy, and that's not as visually pleasing.

Pete Maravich - still unmatched ball handling and skills for pure single player jaw-dropping sh!t nobody comes close to Pistol

Larry Bird - what he did in 1986 was pure bling.

Kobe8 - before he changed his jersey Bryant was an absolute monster at all areas, incredibly volatile, blazing fast, great leaping ability from any kind of body position........ Kobe8 didn't even need to use the dribble to score on the entire NBA set of players - he would beat them down just with ball, head and body fakes and never put the ball on the floor. Incredible stuff.

Honorable mention to Julius Erving, David Thompson & Magic J

Kobe for me isn't very entertaining to watch. Back when he had the fro, was doing killer crossovers and jumping over people sure. Tracy McGrady was alot more entertaining to watch then Kobe. These players in these years were alot of fun to watch.
