What up, ISH. Haven't made a thread in a while, but anyway the Eastern Conference seems to have been improving these last couple of years. Outside of the Cavs (for obvious reasons), the rest of the conference seems to be quite competitive and it is becoming harder and harder to predict which teams will make the playoffs or not.

With that said, what teams do you think will be successful this year? From 1-8, what teams do you think will make the playoffs?

My picks:

1. Cleveland Cavaliers
2. Boston Celtics
3. Toronto Raptors
4. Indiana Pacers
5. Detroit Pistons
6. New York Knicks
7. Miami Heat
8. Washington Wizards

I'd replace the Wizards with the Bulls maybe. I gotta see the bulls at least play some preseason games before I can really tell. The rest looks pretty spot on.

I just don't see how Rondo, Wade, and Butler fit together.

I feel that the Wizards have much better pieces surrounding Wall, and Beal seems poised to have a breakout year.

We'll see though.

Hack 30 percent free throw shooter Drummond till he sits out of games. Smash their d league team to bits. Detroit is not sniffing the playoffs again for a long time.

Rondo is going to get traded within a few months as he is a ball hog who can not play off ball at all. Either rondo gets traded or becomes sixth man. Bulls are bringing in a specialist shooter sooner or later and wade will play point offensively and some wang defender can defend the opponents oink gerd

Hmm the retard is strong in this one. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Detroit not only made the playoffs but got to the second round.

Obviously with the news that Chris Bosh couldn't pass the physical, I don't think the Heat can make the playoffs.

I think that this would be a good chance for Atlanta to sneak in as an 8th seed.

Heat aren't making it without Bosh. Doubt hawks miss the playoffs. horford to howard shouldn't be that much of a downgrade if one at all. I would've thrown in the Bucks but now Middleton got injured so now I'll say Charlotte. They have most of the important pieces from last year and won 48 games. they'll be worse but it'll be enough to get in.

Did people finally give up on the magic? They were the wolves of the east, young team that was supposedly playoff bound evey year, but never made it.
