For a guy labeled as a "frontrunner" by his haters, he sure seems to have a knack for digging himself out of holes. Here's all of his playoff series comebacks in chronological order:

2007: Down 0-2 vs. Detroit in the ECF
2011: Down 0-1 vs. Chicago in the ECF
2012: Down 2-1 vs. the Pacers
2012: Down 3-2 vs. the Celtics
2012: Down 0-1 vs. the Thunder
2013: Down 0-1 vs. the Bulls
2013: Down 0-1, 2-1, and 3-2 vs. the Spurs
2014: Down 0-1 vs. the Pacers
2015: Down 2-1 vs. the Bulls
2016: Down 0-2 and 3-1 vs. the Warriors (greatest comeback in Finals history)

That's 10 series in his career. Comparing this to other legends:

MJ: 4 series
Kareem: 6
Magic: 4
Bird: 3
Hakeem: 5
Russell: 8
Wilt: 6
West: 4
Shaq: 7
Kobe: 8
Duncan: 7

Maybe the reality is that Lebron is at his best when his back is against the wall. :confusedshrug:

Is being down just one game even a big deal though? It shouldn't even count.

Being down 0-1 isn't really a back against the wall situation.

How many times did he lose with HCA? 09, 10, 11 right? Any others?

It is, the team that wins game 1 wins like 60% of the time.

Depends if you're the home or road team. Home team needs to hold 2-0, but road team just needs to split. If you're the home team, you shouldn't be down 0-1.

Just those 3 times. He's also won 6 series without HCA.

Jordan never lost with HCA.

after that 45 point game against the Celtics down 3-2, we already knew he had that alphaness in him. 25 points straight against Pistons, 3-1 comeback against warriors. That alone in the play offs are all some of the best games in play off history.

Exactly. Who gives a damn about what you come back from when you got a guy like MJ who didn't even know how to lose with HCA. It's like he decided he wasn't going to lose with HCA because he felt like it. Don't get more alpha than that. Dude goes up to you and is like, "I'm not going to lose HCA and there's nothing you can do to change that. Not now, not ever."

I think we need to just let that sink in for a moment.

That is one of the main reasons that sets Jordan comfortably ahead of LeBron.

Stop saying ''jordan didn't allow this to happen'' like Basketball is an individual sport http://www.thecoli.com/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/mjlol.png

Jordan didn't lose with HCA but he also never won while being his teams best scorer/passer/defender/rebounder/rim protector.

By that logic you can't say Lebron didn't allow his team to lose despite these deficits.
