He would still be considered greater than Lebron, since both guys would have 3 fmvp's and 3 rings, except Jordan's 3 rings required 30% more PPG and equal assists, as the stats show here (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=418432).

Lebron would have 1 more regular season MVP, but MJ would have 1 more DPOY and never team-hopped (hence needing to score 30% more with equal assists to win his rings).. MJ's so goat it's ridiculous

If you put Lebron on the current Sixers, and put them in WESTERN CONFERENCE, he'd be 1-9 in the playoffs as well...

That was Jordan's scenario when he came to the Bulls - he had a Sixers-level supporting cast in a very tough conference.

Lebron didn't have this scenario on his early Cavs teams - during his first 5 seasons, two of his 2nd options were all-stars (top 3 players at their position in the conference), and his conference was all-time weak.. Otoh, during Jordan's first 5 seasons, none of his 2nd options were anywhere NEAR top 3 players at their position (all-stars), and he played in an all-time tough conference..

So a weak supporting cast in a tough conference explains MJ's 1-9, and it also explains why his first 3 rings required (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=418432) 30% more PPG with equal assists to Lebron's 3 rings.

Just when the bron fans get all excited about his 3rd ring and start making the MJ comparisons, 3ball ends it by laying down the cold hard facts. Will these bron stans ever get a break? Everytime I log on and read a post about lebron I see them getting slayed. He's the 6th best player of all time. Can you phagg0ts just let him be proud of that?

Put Bron on that bulls team and he would go 0 for 6 against Bird's Celtics also, the only difference would be Bron would quit trying after the first quarter of each game. He would however try to stat pad.

Do you not realize how stupid you sound?
MJ went lost to the Celtics every time too so I guess that was nothing but stat-padding too.

At least MJ was mentally stronger at that point than Lebron was at same age. Also Lebron is a known stat padder while MJ was a known winner.

Never assume that GOAT MJ would perform to the 6th all time level of Lebron. That's just stupid.

You're a troll's alt. Post on your main little bitch.

MJ was one of the biggest statpadders ever. There have been commentaries made on how he was obsessed with being told what stats he needed to achieve trip dubs.
And being tied for 2nd most FMVPs isn't a winner?:oldlol:

Don't ever assume Lebron would struggle to get out of the first round from ages 21-23, like MJ.

We'll, you're definitely not a Bran hater as 6th is the absolute highest you can place him in the top 10 while still being an objective and knowledgeable fan of basketball. Personally, I have him in the 6-9 range right there with Bird/Shaq/Kobe. The top 5, however, is untouchable (Jordan, Kareem, Russell, Magic, Duncan).

What exactly puts Duncan above Lebron/Kobe/Shaq/Bird?

Bird has one more MVP, won with less help and went to the finals 4 times in a row.

Shaq won 3 times in a row while putting up stats Duncan never really scratched.

Kobe is equal to Ducan in nearly all achivements, except that his chips came in triplets and pairs. (Though he did have shaq)

And Lebron just beat a 73 win team with what some consider the goat finals performence (Games 5-7)

So, with all due respect to Duncan, as an amazing player as he is, your entire list is really screwed up by his insertion into the top 5 at the cost of these guys.
