Just when you think CNN can't get any worse, they keep pushing this poll of who won the debate...

Clinton: 62%
Trump: 27%

Turns out, this poll had a grand total of 521 votes. Not 521k. 521 votes. They also admitted they polled way more democrats than republicans.

On the other hand, the CNBC poll has just under 560,000 votes. In that poll it's...

Trump:62%
Clinton: 38%

The time magazine poll has over 1,000,000 votes...

Trump: 59%
Clinton: 41%

CBS New York poll...

Trump: 65%
Clinton: 35%

CBS News poll...

Trump: 77%
Clinton: 23%

Slate Poll

Trump: 54%
Clinton: 45%

That 521 poll could be more accurate than a 10 million person poll if the sample is representative.

Their poll isn't representative. 26% of the people polled were republicans. Trump got 27% of the vote.

The new narrative is that you can't trust online polls now. So why was CNN constantly shoving online polls in everyone's face all campaign season long?

Everyone say it was biased. Everyone saw Holt and Hillary working together. Everyone saw Holt giving Hillary perfect setups for her prewritten responses. Hillary came off as a smug and insincere criminal. The media seems to be working alongside Clinton and is acting in a biased fashion.

It fits consistently with what the American people have been saying for a long time. It fits consistently with their description of Hillary from the Commander-in-Chief forum.

Primetime-people like you can continue to remain out of touch and ignore reality, but sticking your head in the sand is not going to change reality for you.

It doesn't matter what political insiders think.

It matters what the people think. Debates aren't about winning. They're about public perception.

According to what the people are saying, Trump won these debates.

You can continue to ignore hundreds of thousands of the American people's opinions if you want to. I won't.

As for 3rd parties, none of them are realistic candidates - I have not heard jill stein or gary johnson speak once, and they were not on the debate stand since you need 15% of poll support minimum (should be 10%). Feel free to enlighten me on their positions.

Lots of Republicans have admitted Trump lost

all sane people have (despite my other thread), but the sane republicans won't step up, they are cucks (to use the parlance of the Trumptard) and will only commit to third party options at this point.

This is bad news for Hillary.

Washington insiders and people in the media think Hillary won because they still haven't figured out that they aren't the audience that Trump is speaking to. That's the audience that Hillary is speaking to.

Trump lost because Trump lost.

Trump did worse than Palin in her first debate. She lost to Biden, but people thought she did OK and exceeded expectations.

Trump's performance was the third worse debate since 1984
Start with a CNN poll of debate-watchers, which showed that 62 percent of voters thought Clinton won the debate compared to 27 percent for Trump — a 35-point margin. That’s the third-widest margin ever in a CNN or Gallup post-debate poll, which date back to 1984.

One of the three that was worse was the first debate in 2012, when Obama tried to play a prevent defense and didn't attack Romney. A terrible strategy.

Romney got a bump after that debate that lasted until the second debate when his performance reassured people. Romney netted 4.4 points from that first debate.

http://s3.amazonaws.com/dk-production/images/8874/large/debate_chart_national.png

There is a rough correlation between a debate viewing poll and a subesquent bump in the real polls, Nate Silver thinks (http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/clinton-won-the-debate-which-means-shes-likely-to-gain-in-the-polls/)

The data is certainly noisy, but an emphatic win on the order of what Clinton or Romney achieved — and perhaps what Hillary Clinton achieved on Monday night — might be expected to produce a swing of 2 to 4 percentage points in horse-race polls. Even a 2-point gain would do wonders for Clinton, who would go from a fairly uncomfortable position in the Electoral College to a fairly comfortable one, and who would emerge with a 3-to-4-point lead in the popular vote.

It certainly is effective at bringing out the butthurt in people, old sport.

https://media.giphy.com/media/GCLlQnV7wzKLu/giphy.gif

No one is paying attention to the TV ads.

This isn't 2008, old timer.

Clinton is outspending Trump exponentially in TV ads and the polls have her either neck and neck with Trump or outright losing.

Flushing more money down the toilet on these primetime TV smear ads is not going to make people like KKKlinton.

Hillary Clinton has been at this for 30 years. The American people know who she is by now.

http://www.snopes.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/nothing.jpg
No one is paying attention? Then why was the Donald all triggered and whining and moaning about the "constant attack ads"?

It got his attention :oldlol:

And attack ads main function is to convince the undecideds and the less enthusiastic Trump supporters not to vote for him.

And they're working, his negatives are still very high, that's why they keep doing it...

None of what you say is a debunking.

It could be a bad poll or an outlier, but probably not.

In the first, true-after-debate poll 18 percent of the Republicans in the poll thought Hilary won.

Trump won on the back of NAFTA, the TPP, defense, and talking about the other issues voters care about.

Hillary won on birtherism and calling people racist-two things that only social justice warrior babies care about when it comes to being president.

Hillary clearly lost in the court of public opinion, and that's all these debates come down to in the end.

It turns out Holt and KKKlinton's planned tag team backfired on them badly. It just made Trump look like a plucky underdog going up against two bullies and a rigged system, at least to the common American watching on TV.

With these choices, fukk yeah I'm gonna stan her, and hold her feet to the fire when she becomes president and if she doesn't deliver, in 4 years we'll oppose her but by then, Trump most likely will have died of a massive heart attack, the fat fukk.

Kinda sad that Clinton supposedly won when she was not substantive...she didn't say anything important. For a debate it was garbage. So much could have been covered yet it was all mostly about non issues like taxes and birthers. A big waste of time. That's why it won't sway anybody toward either side for the most part. Superficially it was a Clinton win, but below the surface Trump came out on top.

The most informative part was at the start, when Trump explained he is for making the rich even more rich, "Trumped up Trickle Down" and Hillary explained she wants to heavily tax the rich and invest in the middle class.

That's the biggest difference in their visions for the economy.

Trickle down economics doesn't work and Trump wants to make the gap between the rich and poor even bigger than it is now.

Right now they hills all the money and pay no taxes because of loop holes. If Hillary fixes that all that money will be pumped into the middle class, mostly via college debt relief. The economy will be booming.

Yeah, they are again falling for the same shit they fell for in 2012 and 2008 when most scientific polls (online polls don't count) showed Obama winning.

All throughout this election cycle, Clinton has been leading the vast majority of the time yet Trump supporters believe the polls are biased (like in 08 and 12) only to be thoroughly dissapointed on Election Day.

Barring any unforeseeable drastic event(s) that would drastically change the direction of this presidential campaign, Clinton will win.
