1. State the Team you support. (Please pick one.)
2. State the lowest point/disappointment
3. State the most optimistic/elated occasion
Minnesota Timberwolves
Lowest Point- When I really thought they are going to trade Kevin love for Klay Thompson and a few other pieces. I really felt bad about it. It was before Klay's monster season in 15' and he wasn't that known to me at the time. I really felt like we're trading away my favorite player for something that won't pan out. I wanted to see my team go for a high draft pick rather then trade our Superstar for a batch of mid-tier players.
Highest Point- Wiggins wins MVP of the All-star weekened Rising stars. That was just an ecstatic moment for me. After a slow start to his season, his scoring started picking itself up, and with all due respect to KAT, it was Wiggins who first really made me believe that this team can go places.
So what's yours?

High : Winning 2016 Title
Low: Lebron leaving, losing in the ecf in 09.(still remember watching that bron game winner at my grandparents house) and I was devastated when the Cavs blew a 27 point lead to the heat during their streak in 13

Not a Spurs fan per se but a big Tim Duncan fan so the answer is easy, game 6, 2013, I was depressed about that for a minute. I figured it was his last chance for a ring.

Seeing alot of Spurs fans comment in this thread.
Well, I guess that being in 'Contention' for 20 years leads to alot of dramatic highs and lows. Being so close to winning it all, or at least being in the discussion every year can be mentally straining on a fan. Every year is a roller coaster.
But I mean, any fan would want that kind of 'difficulty'.
Sometimes in a way the most aloof fans are those of the mid tier teams, (Hawks, Nuggets and such)
I can see why Spurs/Lakers fans would go through alot of highs and lows due to the amount of times they've been up there and lost/won in the previous decade.

High point: The shot Gilbert Arenas makes at about 11:05.
Low point: Gilbert Arenas bricking 2 FTs about 12:46; Damon Jones hits the series-winning shot about 13:34.
To me, the Wizards franchise has still not recovered. We're the same team now we were then: a bunch of overrated guards chucking long 2s with 0% chance of making the conference finals. And how is it that a franchise can go this long without a big man who is even decent? (Gortat is decent, fine; but who starts next to him? Does anyone even know? Is Nene still in the league?)

The low point should have been when Jordan took over management and butchered that team.

Highest => The Cavs winning the chip this year. Just coming down from 3-1 with epic performances against a team that won 73 games.
Lowest => LeBron signing with Miami. I thought the NBA would be over and no longer worth watching.

Lots of Cavs fans seems destroyed by that decision by Lebron.
Did you guys have a hard time forgiving him when he came back? Or was it an instant honeymoon due to the joy of being a contender again after years in NBA Purgetory?

91 or 96 finals was the high. Low? 95 loss to the magic. you think ISH trolling is bad? I had to fight my cousin over that L. He was telling me Penny was better than Jordan for like a year. Jordan returned and I was on some "Wait till the playoffs" shit after MJ kinda got outplayed in one of his first games back. He was just back. It may have been like his second game....and Penny got the W. We went on a winning streak then and I was sooooooooooooo sure we would beat them in the playoffs.
I have never had to deal with comeuppance like I had that summer. I was such a dick....and we lost. And it got so out of hand that as I said....I literally had to fight this dude. I punched him in the face on the porch at my cousins wedding reception. It wasnt 100% caused by the loss....but that was what fueled him to go so over the top clowning me. It evolved into some other things....but that was the start of it.
We never got along in the first place...he was always a dick. And so am I....it was bound to happen. We fought all through childhood over all kinds of shit...but it had been years. We took it back to 87 and fell off the porch fighting in the grass at a wedding....because Nick Anderson got that steal on Jordan in game 1 and we couldnt get back in it.
I distinctly remember the sound my cousin made when Nick was pressuring MJ up the floor and tipped it...and Penny did the steal/spin and dropped it to Horace for the dunk....
I was mad at everything. **** Nick. **** Penny. **** Horace. **** you.
I was the living embodiment of salty over that series. It was like I looked back at the destruction of Sodom for my "Used to go to church" people who may be reading. Im mad all over again....

That's one hell of a confession.
The low is hilarious, sorry. I mean, not making fun of you. But in hindsight it's amusing you have to admit it.
About the highs, were you guys worried when you had to face Magic in 91'? I mean, he was 3 times MVP. Or was he considered far from his prime at that point already? I'd imagine facing the 91 Lakers was more intimidating then the Sonics on your 72 win season.
