Don't overlook Stockton playing all 82 games in 17 of his 19 seasons. We will never see 2 superstars on the same team be able to stay on the court practically their entire careers again.

Please tell me more about how the Houston Rockets, Blazers are so much better then Pistons and Hawks, and how Clippers melting down with injuries and OKC choking had nothing to do with the 73 Win team's way to the finals?

It always has been about luck and health. No champion becomes a champion without one of the two, or both.

Can't you respect Lebron's greatness while realizing this does not diminish from your Idol's glory?

LeBron's durability is the most amazing part of his career, to me. Even beyond the insane athleticism and all of his physical gifts, I've never seen someone play the way he plays with the amount of minutes, games and seasons that have been piling up on his body for the last 13 years ... and, he just continues to truck through unscathed.

It will come to an end at some point. Every guy in the league is just one wrong step or awkward tumble away from disaster. I don't see how it is possible that he can continue at this rate until he retires. That would truly be one of the most amazing athletic feats by any player in any sport. It already is, imo.

It is one thing to have the strength and endurance to complete something this, but he must have unreal limberness with his body. Whoever is responsible for teaching him proper stretching techniques and calisthenics should be given a Nobel Prize.


And, hey... while we're at it, how about a little love to Tristan Thompson? He has never missed a game in his five NBA seasons so far.

I think he's going for the record. Anyone knows who currently holds it? And this is all the more impressive considering TT is banging down in the post and fighting for offensive rebounds.
