The worst thing for a talented player is to be abundently talented, but have an achilles heel, or two.

Weaknesses makes them crushable like a bug, just like any other stiff with weaknesses.

Unfortunately for current fans of the NBA, Lebron is crushable like he was in 2011, because he can't shoot and his ball-dominance reduces teamwork (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12606535&postcount=10)

Nice

who could predict that the guy would turn into Jordan for the last 3 games of the series?

he averaged 24 ppg and 6 TO for the first 4 games, but then 36 ppg and 3 TO for the last 3 (same as Jordan for 91'-93' finals)

wtf

i give him his props... i do believe that if draymond was allowed to play, cavs lose in 5

Jordan never got crushed like a bug. Otoh LeBron has gotten crushed like a bug on multiple occasions even after colluding in an already historically weak conference.

It's amazing how little flak he's gotten for his dreadful Finals performance, especially in the 4th quarter of Game 7. If that were LeBron or Kobe they would've been crucified

Can you name another super-athlete that was a GOAT-level (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12438405&postcount=31) shooter from midrange or 3-point range?

Only MJ.

:confusedshrug:

Additionally, Jordan shot 50% or more from midrange in his prime (91-92', as documented by goat poster PHILA here (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=415733)).

He also shot 49% from midrange in 1997, according to NBA.com (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/893/stats/shooting/?Season=1996-97&SeasonType=Regular%20Season) - this constituted 1202 midrange shot attempts, which was more than Curry's TOTAL jumpshot attempts in 2016 (1191, including 3's).. So Jordan could get a 49% shot WHENEVER he wanted regardless of contest (since midrange shots are taken with significant contests)

Keep in mind that despite Jordan's jumpshot volume, he was still athletic, smart and precise enough with his drives to achieve 89 dunks (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=352399) in 1998 as a 35 year old man - this would rank was #1 in Westbrook, Vince, and Paul George's career, and #2 in Kobe's career..

Can you imagine Jason Terry styling on Jordan to ice a finals series?

This is why this so called "lebron fam" on here gets handled each time they log into their alts.

Cool story, must be why MJ never allowed a game 7 in the finals, went perfect at 6/6. Try not to let the door hit you on the way out.

Ugly ass boi.

Now we have Kobe stans piggy-backing off Jordan as a last ditch effort to stay relevant. :oldlol:

Most pathetic group of stans in history. By the time egokiller stops posting, Jordan will be knocked out of the top 5 on ISH. That's how unconvincing and autistic this ugly dude is.

Jordan never led in all major statistics in a finals series. He never beat a 73 win team. He never not had his dad killed. He never won without pippen. He never won without phil Jackson. He never won when celtics lakers and pistons were in there prime. He never won without expansion era help.

But he did play for the next two games. And guess what? Same outcome. LeBron abused him both games.
