Once they are both retired, do you see their fans unite in the way that the Kobe and MJ fans have warmed up to each other since Kobe's ascension in the all time ranks came to a halt? (Around 15-10 All time)
Basically once he was no longer a threat.
Will this kind of endorsement happen in our lifetime? And if so, who would be the new 'Lebron' that MJ supporters are going to oppose..?

As an all time MJ fan, Bron and Kobe can both stay together on that lower Tier tbh

Yes, of course.
But do you see yourself defending Lebron against a new contender in the future?

To be honest when it's all said and done, if Lebron doesn't surpass MJ then that would just further cement MJ's legacy, and whoever's next to come for the throne will have to first top Bron AND Kareem
If Bron does surpass MJ, can you imagine how hard it'll be for someone ELSE to come along and surpass Jordan to be compared to Bron?
Frankly, Bron vs MJ discussions are bound to be endless if the debate gets closer and closer and Bron can become the undoubted 2nd GOAT or the GOAT

To be honest? I don't think Lebron is going to surpass MJ.
He may end up being considered the more Talented player, but not the GOAT. Because if it was just about talent, Wilt would've ranked 1st or 2nd, or 3rd at worse. But it is also about winning.
If Lebron wins another ring or two though, everything is up for grabs.
especially if he defeats another 70-win caliber team (This year's GSW perhaps?)
But think about it. Lebron is going to turn 32. How long do you think he can keep up with those superhuman performences? and ending up as the consensus #3 or #2 is one hell of a feat.

I actually can see Lebron play in his 40's ala Karl Malone. Can you imagine seeing 2 LeBron's in the NBA in 2022.?

Lebron actually said he thought about playing against his son.
Damn that would be surreal as shit.
Little bron seems like he's going to be skilled.

About 5 years ago I would've said Lebron should see a steep decline at about age 34
But it doesn't seem like much can slow the guy down. Wouldn't be surprised if he's putting up 25/6/6 or something until he's like 36
