Ha, Pepe was a mystery to me as well (still kind of is...) until I was informed by the Anti-Defamation League (and Clinton) that Pepe was, in fact, a racist.

He wasn't racist when Nikki Minaj or Katy Perry used him (kinda like Trump wasn't a racist until he ran against Democrats), but now Pepe is on the prowl and is looking to bring back white supremacy (so I'm told).


The Clinton campaign fired back with a post, "Donald Trump, Pepe the frog, and white supremacists: an explainer" on why "that cartoon frog is more sinister than you might realize."
