Tristan is also out with a stiff left foot. Birdman will start.

Deandre Liggins will start as the PG.

Anderson is still a presence inside, I don't care how old he is... perfect back-up for Tristan

Damn, Felder with the offensive rebound and the steal...

Everything A-OK at the moment. I think Shump is going to have a nice bounce-back year.

This could also be the season Love really takes off in the offense. He looks great.

He can only get better after his abysmal season last year...

McRae on fire...

It felt like he was out-of-rhythm all year after coming back from injury mid-season. He could just never get his 2015 form back. I think it was more an outlier of a season. He's a better player than that.

My biggest worry is his injury history. The Cavs should be cautious with him.

Shump was so good offensively in 2014-2015, hopefully he can regain some of that 3 point shot...

68 points at halftime against an up-and-coming Eastern playoff team, I didn't expect the Cavs to click like that right away...

Who do you think will make the team out of McRae, Liggins and Douglas?

They can sign 2 of them, no? Mcrae and Douglas prolly

Yeah, I was asking because the Cavs seem to be really high on Liggins and his ability to defend... But Douglas shot 40 percent from 3 last season and imo you have to have such a veteran PG in your roster until Felder is ready to take over...

The Cavs will keep all three, imo. Dahntay Jones will be the odd man out.

Kyrie Irving
JR Smith
LeBron James
Kevin Love
Tristan Thompson

Kay Felder
Iman Shumpert
Mike Dunleavy
Channing Frye
Richard Jefferson
Chris Anderson
James Jones
Jordan McRae
DeAndre Liggins
Toney Douglas

That's 15, right? Am I missing someone?

You are right. I totally forgot about the possibility of cutting Dahntay. That's what a drink at the start of preseason does to you ;-) After all, our bench wouldn't be terrible at all after losing Mozzy and Delly...

As good as McRae is playing tonight, he still flashes some chucker tendencies that will not work when this team is really trying and is whole. I actually think Liggins might fit in better with our stars as a part-time wing. McRae obviously has much more upside, though. If he can become a little more economical consistently, he could help us.

Felder looks like a legitimate backup PG tonight.

Felder is dancing on them. Very explosive first step and hops around the rim.

Felder with 14 points on 7-11 FG with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals... not too shabby for his first preseason game

The rookie and bench looked better than advertised. The bench might be old but they all fit what the cavs need. Kyrie is going to destroy the league this year.

On the Felder bandwagon since day 1. He is great. Easy to root for, too.
