Hillary actually just decided to buy ads on the weather channel knowing that people are going to be watching the weather channel due to the hurricane. That's going to be seen as a very slimy move.

whatever happens, as bad as that might be, unfortunately it's just the tip of the iceberg.
those who insist global warming is just a scam are going to learn some brutal, permanent lessons in the coming years.

Apparently not. They've pulled the ads after being slammed for it in Florida.

If Trump could afford to do that you would say "that would make him smart"

Kevin has to create his own thread. Just has to have the attention all to himself. His ego is HUUUUUGE, just like Trump's.
Kevin is secretly voting for Trump. Book it.

Hate to bring politics into a possible catastrophe but this could be a good thing for Trump. It will dominate the news cycle and gives him a break from all the self inflicted damage he has done to himself.
It will also draw attention away from Sunday's debate so less people will see Hillary schlong Trump a second time.

Bad move by Hillary..she's already seen as slimy. They will also politicize this after the aftermath. Probably go with a climate change angle to gain votes. It's going to backfire. Trump will come out looking better. Trump will also have a much better debate this Sunday. Clinton's best will be the first debate.

What damage? The fact that he follows tax laws and might have told a pageant queen in 1998 to lose weight because otherwise, she'd be in violation of her contract that she signed before Trump even got involved with the pageant?
I know the media has convinced you that these things are a big deal, but just step back and think, is it really?
BTW, it's now looking the the Clintons made a deal with her to give her citizenship if she trashes Trump. Some head guy in the immigration department just resigned and his reason was something along the lines of "the point immigration isn't to do favors for the Clintons."

why do you think so?
i'm sure his team has been able to adjust their strategy based on the first debate, but it's always a question whether the donald is interested in following a plan.
apparently they couldn't get him to cooperate the first time... not sure why people would have a rational certainty that things will be different this time.

Trump lives in Florida so he can use this to his advantage by donating to the community and walking around the affected neighborhoods.

He refused to practice or prepare for the first debate. He insisted on just winging it. I'm not exactly sure why. He must have heard that "over preparing makes you look fake" and made up his mind not not prepare. Kinda dumb TBH, but in all fairness it was the first 1on1 debate he ever did.

i think it's due to his habits and skills in improvising as he goes, mic or no mic. he's certainly gifted at that in a way that really grabs a lot of people. following a script is pretty much the opposite of that and something he probably associates with losers.
somewhere i was reading an acct by one of his ex-staffers about what it's like working on his team, behind closed doors. apparently he's pretty much like this all the time, which has them scrambling to figure out how to persuade him on various stuff they're not used to getting resistance from politicians on.

Trump actually giving away his own actual money? :oldlol:
What's more likely to happen is that he will find gullible people to con and have them donate to his foundation. He will then give that away, while taking full credit.

This sounds like Hillary Clinton x 100. Trump doesn't compare to Hillary's corruption.

For Hillary and Bill Clinton, the total is $23.2 million between 2001 and 2015. That figure comes from the Clintons’ joint tax returns, which the Democratic nominee has released.
Trump donates tee time at his golf courses
Since the first day of his presidential campaign, Donald Trump has said that he gave more than $102 million to charity in the past five years.
To back up that claim, Trump’s campaign compiled a list of his contributions — 4,844 of them, filling 93 pages.
But, in that massive list, one thing was missing.
Not a single one of those donations was actually a personal gift of Trump’s own money.
Instead, according to a Washington Post analysis, many of the gifts that Trump cited to prove his generosity were free rounds of golf, given away by his courses for charity auctions and raffles.
