Nugget fans avoiding this thread because you can clearly see Mudiay struggling to stop D'Angelo on like 8 possessions :oldlol:
That was pretty good. However, not much man to man defense

Not avoiding. Russell got hot from 3. Mudiay isn't a shut down defender, he made some mistakes for sure. Russell was better. It's not that crazy. It happens. Like Draz said there wasn't even that much man to man defense. Nuggets just aren't great defensively as a team.
Nuggets young core looked better. Nuggets looked better. Nuggets should be better this season. So what if Russell who was drafted 2nd overall is better than Mudiay? I'm fine with that if Jokic/Nurkic/Murray are balling. Mudiay has tons of potential. Maybe he hits his ceiling. Maybe he busts. He and Russell were close last year, yesterday they weren't. Time will tell how close they are this season. Russell will be the better scorer but Mudiay has been better everywhere else thus far. You can win the 1 vs 1 battle if it means the Nuggets win the team battle.

Russell was better in almost every facet of the game last night, not just scoring lol. Easy kid.

Mudiay had 6 assists and 4 turnovers, DR 5 assists and 4 turnovers. Russell was scoring more and hot from deep and created more off that. Mudiay was running the P&R better. But yeah Russell was the better player last night easily, by far. No argument here. We'll see how things shake out going forward.
Nuggets fans aren't going to be rattled like your hoping tho because our young core looked more promising. We won more games last year. Should win more this year. We've never had a Kobe/LeBron etc. so while I want Mudiay to be better clearly as long as our other young guys step up I'm fine with Russell being better :confusedshrug: At the end of the day the team is more important than the individual matchup. Laker fans will realize that now that they don't have an All-Time great on the roster going forward.

You guys keep harping over this win and your team. We have a whole new roster essentially, new coach, new system. Ingram and D'Angelo will come into their own. Im not worried. We have plenty of young buds - Ivica, Nance etc.

It's not just the win tho. Similar to how Russell just looks better than Mudiay right now our young guys just look better. Denver is just as young. Last year was Malone's first year and we won 33 despite the injuries/youth. Are system is pretty new too. We have "young buds" too, actually more so than L.A does really.
Ingram/Russell will come into there own. Just like our young players will. Mudiay still has tons of potential just has an issue with his shot/shot selection and scoring. No Nuggets fan is going to care Russell "abused" Mudiay when everything else looks like it's in are favor right now. Russell should be better. He was drafted 2nd overall. He's L.A's best prospect right now. Jokic just like last year is a better prospect than Mudiay. Nurkic might be. Murray might be. Time will tell.
Everyone is still so young. Lots can change. Ingram probably has the most potential out of everyone on either roster yet is clearly still the rawest. Ingram looks more raw than Mudiay did as a rookie. I'm not going to call him a bust because he's a few years away so why would you declare Russell above Mudiay right now? Does that mean Mudiay above Ingram? :confusedshrug:

Half the people on this site are prepubescent tweens that are still waiting for there balls to drop and there voices to get deep. They will call Dlo a bust just to try to get a rise out of Lakers Fans. Most of them have no clue what good basketball and great players are.
That being said, I believe both Mudiay is going to be a stud in this league also. It is WAY to early to say who is going to be the better pro long term. Need at least 3 years to properly evaluate a player. My personal opinion is that Dlo has a higher upside, but still think both have all the talent in the world to be good to great pro's.
edit: can't spell worth a shit.

The one thing i got from this game was how much better the Lakers were with Russell on the bench. another level of defense and ball movement
Mudiay aint a scorer and i dont understand why AirTupac is so obsessed with that one aspect of the game.
also Nurkic, Jokic and Murray >>> Anyone on the Lakers
like where the **** was Randle?

Your not even a good troll. Even your own Laker fans trash you :oldlol: you end up making DR performances look worse by your petty obsession with Mudiay.
Thanks for giving me a reason to engage about Nuggets basketball tho. Without you nobody else would notice us. All tho something tells me you won't be around when the Nuggets win more games this year so I should probably let you have the preseason.
