The jumper in Kawhi's mug in game 7 2013

The free throw with a broken wrist to seal the biggest upset in nba history in 2016

What's more legendary?

My personal favorite is the one he hit in Kawhi's autistic face. That's probably the most legendary shot in game 7 history.

The one over the Austistic child. That was the clutchest pivot I've ever seen.

A lot of players rush their shot in the clutch, leading to bricks (Kobe is a perfect example). Sorry JT. I know he's your boy, but I'm being objective here. Lebron's patience was Beautiful.

If Lebron was such a clutch player that always comes through when his back is against the wall, then why did he brick the 3-pointer and need Ray Allen to hit it?

Jordan attracted the double-team (something Lebron never does), and then passed the series-winning assist to Kerr - there's no room for criticism.

Remember, Lebron only has ONE legendary moment in the Finals - the block..

Otoh, Jordan has tons and tons - the switch hands, flu game, walk-off game-winner in Game 1 of 97' Finals, Finals record 55 points in 93' Finals, shoulder shrug and Finals record 6 threes in first half, series winner to Kerr in 97', steal and game-winner vs. Utah in 98'.

whew.. Jordan's legendary moments are far more plentiful, just like his playoff and finals stats are way better than Lebron's.. 6 more points on better efficiency, with nearly equal assists (equal after turnovers)

Well let's break this down in the simplest way possible.
Let's say the dimes lead to an old fashioned 2 pointer, though it could very well be a 3 ball in today's game..that's 43 - 45 ppg that either man is responsible for, per game.
Those 4 extra boards..at least one of them could be an o board right? Could very well lead to another bucket, again likely a 3 point shot these days.
I'm probably gonna have to go with the 29/10/7 line.

No... Jordan averaged more offensive rebounds in regular season and playoffs on a per game and per possession basis.

Lebron's only advantage is defensive rebounds... His 29/10/7 includes 4.5 turnovers, compared to Jordan's 2.8 - so that erases Lebron's 1 assist edge.

Also, Lebron's 29/10/7 excludes his 2007 Finals.. When you include the 2007 Finals, his stats are 27/10/7 - that means Lebron averages a whopping 6 ppg less than Jordan in the Finals, on worse efficiency (53% to 45%)... Imagine if Lebron averaged 6 more points on better efficiency - he'd be on another level.

How many more of Lebron's assists hit a successful 3 point shooter than Jordan's did?

So you're going to knock Jordan because he didn't play in an era of 3-point shooters like Lebron?

:kobe:

It's statistical fact that Lebron achieves his stats WITH teammates spacing the floor (Cavs took 30 threes per game last year), while Jordan achieved his stats WITHOUT teammates spacing the floor (Bulls took 5 per game in 1991).

Obviously, Jordan's stats would explode in today's spacing.. It's common knowledge that spacing makes offense easier - Lebron benefited from it, and Jordan didn't.

You're a legend 3ball..maybe a little on the spectrum, but a legend nonetheless.

LeBron doesn't have any game-winners in the Finals. The best, closest thing to a Finals game-winner for LeBron was 2013 game 7.

His best game-winner in the playoffs is easily the one against Chicago in 2015.

His shot against the Magic is alright too.
