I know what you are going through.

This is a good thread.

My advice: just go to bed with her... even if you're not tired. Believe me.

Depends on the time she goes to bed.

Happens to me every night. I'm pretty sure she's not happy about it but keeps to herself. I work 14+ hours a day, although I have time on my hands throughout at that period, so when I get home, I can't just go to sleep. I need to wind down. Have a beer and watch a recorded game or play some Xbox. When I crawl into bed, she wakes up a lot of the time.

My parents have had different rooms for most of my life. They love each other and are perfectly happy, but my dad is a night owl. The older I get the more I like this setup.

I'm single right now, but I never even liked sleeping with my girlfriends that much. I get up way too much to piss, move around a lot, and sleep late as hell, to sleep with someone in my bed long-term.

Say, if both of you have to sleep in one room that only has one bed for an individual and there's a cushion/mattress that you can lay on the floor for the other, would you let the lady sleep in the bed or tell her that she has to sleep in the floor mattress beside it instead?
