Haters would still somehow play up the 6/13 narrative.

Exactly :oldlol: They'd argue it's a negative to make 7 additional Finals

looking from the outside , in = I would say Lebron will be lucky to get two more chips.

Cav's in a year or so , will need a 3rd cog in the wheel , and it won't cost cheap.

MJ isnt the GOAT because of 6 rings, he is the GOAT because he has statistically separated himself from every person ever to play the game.

Him and Wilt are statistical outliers. Its them and everybody else.

Questions like that read like, "If Kobe comes back, and wins 3 straight championships, averaging 35ppg, will you admit that he would be better than Jordan, mother ****ers?" Like that anger towards fans of another player that causes them to think a lot about those fan while creating improvable scenarios in their head while being paranoid that others are going to talk shit about their player, thus feeding that anger with a scenario that's just running in their head.

To answer the question, yes if Lebron wins 6 more championships and 6 more Finals MVP he would be better than Jordan.

Would've taken him twice as long to accomplish the same amount of results, while never being as great, transcendent or iconic. So, absolutely not. That ship sailed with 2007, Decision, 2011, and 2014. Best he can do is #2. Which is his trajectory probably anyway.

If it takes Lebron twice as many chances to achieve the SAME as MJ, why would that make Lebron > MJ?

Not even that.

I think a good margin of players, coaches, experts had him at GOAT before he won his 1st based on his skill and talent level.

People were saying he was one of the best in his 3rd year, some even whispering GOAT.

The statistics are a result of his skill level I suppose.

It wasn't just his skill level - it was his indomitable will to win.

Just because he is the best player of this era, it doesn't mean that he's the best player of all time.

People won't automatically put LeBron above MJ if he wins more chips or has better statistical accolades. People are still gonna rank MJ higher due to his game, plain and simple. Mj's game regardless of whatever statistical advantages Bron may have isn't as good as MJ's plain and simple.

Broad questions like the OP are a f*cking crapshoot and impossible to answer.

It would depend on how LeBron plays, who he plays, and how everything else surrounding him pans out. In layman's terms? Context needed.

Dude probably wont go to another 6 straight finals, nevermind win 3 more rings, but if he does...it just depends...on a lot of things.

:applause:

This is what Kobe stans (the ones who are irrational) do not understand, they only look at the Kobe highlights where he hits tough contested shots.

MJ averaged 30.1 points on 50% shooting where as Kobe averaged 25.0 on 44.7% shooting.

What they dont' realize is the better you are, the easier it is.

People say crazy shit like "oh, well he was wide open" how'd ya think he got that way?

Crazy shit like "his shots are all from the mid" yeah, is it his fault he was skilled and smart enough to get to those shots?

MJ was simply more skilled, smarter, and flat out BETTER.

At his best he was as good as MJ. If he goes on to win the same amount of titles or more, while going to more finals, I'd have him as better.

Hypothetical though. I don't think he wins 6. 4 or 5 is more likely.
