I read this whole theory about after this fight, setting up May/Pac 2. Some stuff included that this is Manny's last fight with Top Rank, so he and Mayweather can set up the fight where they pocket the money while Arum is nowhere involved in the promotion of the fight.

Pretty interesting tbh even though its a long shot.

Manny can still punch he Knock down Bradley several times in their last fight. I think he's lacking some killer instinct since Marquez KO'ed him in 2012. He became tentative.

Its not a particularly good fight for Manny, but its not a complete bum either. Take it for what it is I guess. This should have been Garcia or Crawford. May/Pac 2 is coming most likely. Arum and Haymon are getting some business done together.

Porter and Thurman are pretty durable. The punches they were landing who have Knock Down other Welterweight boxers.

Manny would beat Khan and Garcia because those guys are unproven at 147.

Their boxing skills are questionable at best, especially Porter. Even a past prime Manny feasts on a sloppy brawler like Porter.

Thurman is just straight trash. Decent power but nothing else IMO.

I fell off the Thurman hype train a while ago. He may have the charisma, but his bark has been louder than his bite.

People make him out to be some sort of killer, but in reality he hasn't been tested by elite level competition, and Shawn Porter AIN'T elite either. He's been hyped up as this next big thing for about 4 years now, yet he's still in the same spot as he was then.

I hope Manny hangs it up honestly. Would it be cool to see him take on these younger fighters? Yes. But I'd like to see all these younger guys fight each other and carve out their own path to stardom.

man this was more entertaining event than I expected. solid performance from pacman. hes a shell of his former slelf but man he is still a good fighter. hes been in all these wars, been outboxed, got knocked out and still fights at a high level. mayweather even showed up to watch! lol

I think Manny still beats every top welter except Spence and most likely will have trouble catching Terrance Crawford. I actually do want May-Pac 2 because its such an event but I wouldn't mind seeing a fight vs Garcia or Khan. Crawford fight wouldn't be entertaining but it would such a bad ass move if Manny picked him.

lol hes not Roy Jones out there. if he wants to keep fighting, just go along for the ride. Manny just beat two legit Top 10 Welterweights this year, decisively. None of those other welters or younger fighters can even say the same.
