View Full Version : What current players have the best shot at recording a quadruple double?

Saw them talking about it during the Nets/Knicks game and the possibility of Porzingis doing it.
What other players today would you consider to have the best chance of doing this?
Note: this has only happened 5 times in NBA history. David Robinson was the last to do it in 1994.

Westbrook if you count TO :lol
All things considering playing alongside Dipo there's a possibility Dipo pressures the ball and Westbrook fills lanes for 10 steals a game. He has the motor for it

Curry could do it if he went for it
He would have to play some lanes and do some gambling but he could do it

Westbrook would be my top pick. Yannis could be up there. DeAndre or Hassan if they can somehow record 10 dimes.
Lonzo Ball will be the next one to do it though :D

Karl Anthony
He would be my best guess. Not now, but when he's reaching his prime in 2 or 3 years

I would say kwahi Leonard has an outside chance but most likely with points/rebounds/steals/blocks

It's only been done 5 times and 2 of them was by Hakeem! And that was within a month span. This simple fact PROVES just how well rounded this guy was. He's so well rounded, he is 45th all time in SPG at 1.75. Imagine that. A C! Next closest C on the list is DRob at 113th place at 1.41, who is also 1 of the 5 who did it.

Today, I would say Davis has the best chance because he has that small man athleticism that Hakeem/DRob had to possibly get the 10 steals or 10 blocks.
Maybe Paul George, Lebron, Davis, ABC, Westbrook, thats about it probably.

I'm assuming you're saying Giannis? If so, excellent call. He has the ability and motor to get a quintuple double

My best bet would be Anthony Davis

Gaymond Screen.
Draymond is probably the most likely to get it in my eyes.
With Curry, Klay, and KD surrounding him, he's going to be putting up a lot of triple doubles this season. Then you consider his defense, he's solid in both blocks and steals.

Answer is Draymond Green followed by Towns and AD even though I don't expect any of them to come close.
There's only been 15 players in history with 10 steals so if you're banking on someone to do that with a triple double, good luck. For blocks, it happened like 100 times.

People forgetting about Giannis Antetokounmpo. The man is literally a swiss army knife on both ends of the floor.

1.4 a game which is pretty decent. Did you not watch him in the playoffs? 1.8 bpg in the playoffs.

Davis , lebron , Whiteside
Does he even have 10 career assists? :oldlol:
My guess is KP, AD or Westbrook. He's come close to 10 steals before. He makes plays in chaotic games.

Don't get me wrong. He's a great post player. But 1.4 is not spectacular for a guy anchoring a small ball lineup. He just doesn't attempt blocks. He's not the type to reach 5 in a game, let alone 10. He's more likely to get 10 steals.
